At 175 it would be the same, This Andre Cat, has Too much TALENT!!!

Those are all great match ups but I don't think the public would let Floyd fight Matthysse right now altho I agree it would be a good fight.

No you're logic is weak. You can compare today with back then at all. Catch weights were rare then, everyone knows that. Everyone fought everyone. HW came in all shapes and sizes so did MW, and WW.. Today there more weight classes and catch weights, much easier to move up or down now...Thats common sense.. All was p4p even though he fought at HW look at him in his younger days compared to his older days, at first he was a light HW/super MW then be became full blown HW..

        • I say Dawson was to weak to fight as an amatuer boxer I drained myself to make wieght one time I was weak as hell I got stopped and moved up to the next wieght divison i won 50 straight bouts after that. Just letting you people who have never laced gloves that when you weak in that ring you can't do nothing your legs are basically gone from the opening bell. Just my experience on that issue. Dawson should have stated I want a rematch at 175

You may be right. I didn't see the weigh in. However, if Dawson was having difficulty making the weight and didn't feel like he could compete because of the weight drain, he should have called the fight off in advance. I hate it when fighters talk trash about how well they feel and how great they are going to perform during the buildup to a fight and then makes excuses about the weight afterwards.

Maybe! But I still want to see him fight a Chad Dawson at a 100%. At any weight I feel Ward would be hell, but I want to see the Dawson with the high work rate, with the great stamina and the one who takes a better shot.

Everyone has their opinions about the P4P rankings (and that is all they are, opinions). Before the Ward/Dawson fight, my top five P4P were: Mayweather, Martinez, Andre Ward, J.M. Marquez and Pacquaio. It doesn't change after this fight. However, if Chavez Jr. beats Martinez next week, I would make Ward number 2.
Silly theory, Heavyweight are Heavyweights man. They don't have a choice they came in all shapes and sizes. When you're dealing with middleweights and light HW's they have choices. Ward can fight anywhere from 162-178 Easy! He has a choice. When you have fighters out here racking up titles in 4 or 5 weight classes hats what the definition of p4p is..

Golovokvin would beat Ward much stronger fighter than Ward. Wards punches won't do nothing to his iron chin. He will break Ward down with thoses vicious body punches he throws

Ok then for the sake of dummying it down let's go with the Klitchsko Brothers. According to you because they can't move up or down their ineligible for te P4P list? B-Hop who is still actively fighting was P4P Top 3 for years while fighting @ middle-wt.
