once again, accomplishing in very few sentences what took me many pages.

it's hard to argue with some of these guys when they think you're only arguing with them because you're some fanboy.

it's like trying to explain something to a man who is not listening. you can know what you are talking about and have a good means of explaining it, but it's still not going to get you anywhere.

i have no ties with goldenboy in the least. i dont get where the hell you come up with this stuff, but it's completely unfounded and essentially fabricated.

go check through my posts, kid
i'm about as unbiased a poster as you'll find around here. i never participated in any "GBP / TR or pacquiao/mayweather wars."

in fact, when that was going on i posted exclusively in the history section.

and i'm certainly not "******," per your tremendously mature red karma message.

Dude, have I not given you more GREEN than Red?????

You're flat out wrong in your arguments and the entire country see's it. You're wrong man.

I've given you plenty of green in these parts, but the first time I rightfully give you red, you're crying like a little girl?

Your whole argument about this boxing is a business is wrong. It's just another way to defend a cherry pick. You mentioned the "history" of boxing, but I've given you plenty of examples in boxing's history where this hasn't happen, but you dance around that and keep repeating the same nonsense.

i'm not saying lopez is the perfect opponent. you're a bright guy and you understand that.

        better than mayorga.

if i had a pick i'd fight lara
if i was bankrolling canelo or otherwise, i'd fight lara. a real step up, a fight fans want to see and might actually pay for, and it's a fight he can win that fits the standards you laid out in the bold.

but that's too much risk for goldenboy and i can understand their motives. i am not paying their bills for them.
I'd rather see any random top 10 ranked 154 fighter than Lopez. I don't see what Lopez brings, other than making damn sure Alvarez doesn't lose, and I can't get behind him as an opponent, I can't be fine with him as an opponent at all. It's a terrible decision for an opponent, and makes no sense if they were willing to throw him in the ring with Paul Williams or James Kirkland just a month or two ago.

It may be a loss now, but wouldn't it be smarter to have a true step up opponent in house for Alvarez to fight at this point? If Alvarez loses, that's a loss now but a potential new star in whoever beat him. If Alvarez wins, any question of credibility about him fighting Mayweather goes away.

I try to understand that boxing is a business, but its not fair that business oppresses some fighters and protects others. Other fighters in that division have earned the right to at least get a chance at taking advantage of business for themselves. They've earned the right to be hyped up and built up to be a star. At least give them that chance.

Business shouldn't only apply to some fighters and not others.

i have not been paying attention to the karma you have given me outside of the red bar where you called me ****** and told me to shut up

i mentioned it to outline that you no longer have any credibility with me when you start behaving like a child. it's evidence that you dont have an understanding yet of how the world works. the actual act of getting red karma or you calling me ****** doesnt mean anything to me. it's effect on your crediblity in these discussions does.

boxing is a business dude. if boxing stopped being a business it would cease to exist.

I'm happy for Josesito, he earned his payday; however, where are the posters that said canelo shouldn't fight x and y fighter, because they don't put butts in the seats. Are these Canelo apologists complaining about Josesito since he doesn't have a large following?

Ok, so when I give you green, you don't acknowledge that, but when it's red, you cry. If you're referring to the insults in the message, did it ever cross your mind that it was possibly from you telling me I was full of schit?

Anyway, regarding the bold, I clearly "understand" your posts as I've told you several times in different words what you were saying. I just don't "AGREE" with it. I don't.

There's a difference between not understanding and not agreeing.

Or are you to young to understand that?

Can't really ask anything different from him -- he's stuck. They gave him a belt and is gonna be hated until he fights the guys earning their shot. He's 21 and his career could've been better suited as a non champion for now, but GBP, the WBC, etc couldnt bare the temptation to do what they're doing.

Canelo is a good kid who wants to be great and is loyal to his handlers. He trains like an animal and has even asked for fights against the likes of Martinez. They've just opted to take it easy for a bit. Meanwhile, he gets better and the fights against top 154ers build up.

IMO, check back in 18 months and the hate will have decreased. Albeit never eliminated.

it should not, but it does

why does canelo make all this money / get all of this treatment, really?

his looks/ charisma. he's got starpower.

                    it's not fair man.

life aint fair. i am going to have to wait to see him step up like everybody else. obviously i'd love to see him fight monsters, but that's not how it works, because it's not fair.

i accept that. i have to.

i will not support it. i am not supporting it. i am accepting it.
again I WILL NOT BUY THIS PPV

he will step up. we have no choice right now but to be patient.

nobody buy this PPV and it will send the right message. i'm all for that. no way in hell i'm paying 60-70 to watch canelo fight on the A side of a card at this stage against anybody.

i'd pay for him to fight cotto, floyd, martinez, and chavez. that's it, and they arent in order or going to happen on the scheduled ppv date.
