Mosley hadn't won a fight in 3 years and Cintron had't won a meaningful fight in years, come on and Canelo couldn't even make the 150 catchweight in a fight.

I agree with TS, people just love to play the 'spoon fed' card. GBP is going to put him in with tough guys soon too they clearly arent afraid of him losing by setting him up with Williams, Kirkland, and Ortiz yet they all have fallen out which has left GBP scrambling. We all know this isnt the toughest opponent but more then likely after this he will be fighting Kirkland then (if he beats Kirkland and Lopez) Cotto. `

So he tried to line up a fight with an injured fighter? I give him Paul Williams but I believe there was a reason behind this, Williams lost to Lara and felt Williams was on the decline (which he probably was). Then they were challenging Ortiz who had a fight with Lopez then were asking him to fight in 3 months. 3 months to get ready for Canelo and make weight. You mean to tell me a 140 lber was the best they could find? 154 is stacked bro. K9 was willing to fight him, what was the excuse for that? I understand the rest of the division but no K9?

I'm not even sure if you're serious bringing up Pacman-Mosley with me. I haven't been impressed with that dude since he fought Margarito. Bottom of the barrel type elite fighter as far as I'm concerned.

However I don't see how you can say that ginger unifying 154 does nothing for him. Especially when he's fighting a jr welterweight. Let me ask you this, how is Lopez better for ginger than Austin Trout??
