    UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship)

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a relative newcomer on the pay-per-view scene, matched the once-dominant World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. in pay-per-view revenues during 2006 and surpassed boxing titan HBO. The three companies make up the bulk of the pay-per-view business. According to Deana Myers, a senior analyst at Kagan Research LLC (which tracks the PPV industry), "UFC has reinvigorated the pay-per-view category."[20]

The following list shows the highest buyrates for the UFC as of March 2012:
Again, not sure why these anti-UFC people are getting so angry. Older brother jealous of younger brother?

Pacquiao and Mayweather sell PPV as of current. Can anyone else produce those numbers?

So you are ignoring facts I sent at you and then switch the topic, because you know you are wrong. Alright I'm done here. I accomplished what I needed to. You obviously feel dumb whether you project it onto the internet or not.

Don't worry gullible boxing fans, UFC isn't a threat. They can both coexist in peace.

Brock v Carwin for example was not a sell out. That doesn't mean it wasn't a big success but it was not sold out.

You don't know **** about either sport.

Oh and people actually watch UFC on FOX, how many people are tuned in for NBC fights?

                Stay insecure anti-UFC children.
2 out of 3 UFC on FOX events have bombed. They called the first one a success but it reality they were hoping for way more than 5 million viewers. Dana said he wanted to blow Kimbo out of the water but they only got slightly more. Likewise, Dana said he thought TUF on FX would average 3 million viewers, instead it's hit a new low point. UFC has been badly exposed by this FOX deal. They aren't nearly as big as they let themselves out to be.

This is why boxing needs to put Canelo on CBS. The UFC put up "the biggest HW fight in MMA history" and only got 5 million viewers on the leading network in the US. Boxing can put up an interesting middleweight prospect on a smaller network and **** the UFC arse ways straight to hell. FFS the old boxing reality TV series on FOX averaged 6 million viewers in 2003 and got cancelled for low ratings. The FOX execs who thought picking up the UFC was a good idea are probably close to hanging themselves.

                  1. UFC don't release their numbers. In fact they don't even breathe on them. Nobody officially to do with the UFC says anything about them.

                  2. The numbers Dave Meltzer (a WWE journalist) reports are international PPV buys, the numbers released by boxing are US domestic. That's an unfair comparison.

                  3. I have to assume you intentionally ignored Cotto? I can understand the petty little MMA fans doing this but why would someone with close to 1000 posts on a boxing forum forget about Cotto?

When you reach the top ofthe UFC. It's because you were the best guy. Simple as that. No padding or shady fights to get a cheap vacant title. That's what I like and respect the most.

The UFC sponsored Jon Jones in his Evans fight. How is that not shady?
