Even DiBella touched on this. Too much emphasis is put on win/loss records in boxing. The UFC has fighters who have lots of losses in main events, why? Because they are characters, have charisma, or just flat out put on good fights even if they happen to lose, people want to see them again regardless of 10+ loss records. Today in age undefeated records mean diddly squat to me. A perfect example is Emmanuel Augustus. That man has insane losses and was still great to watch fight.
ill give the UFC one thing without a doubt.

UFC is a **** "sport" in my opinion, not interested in watching guys roll about the floor or kneeing people in the head.
however, 1 thing it has over boxing easily, is the best fight the best. that doesnt happen in boxing very often.Comment

Yeah there is a lot of good things going for the UFC, Boxing could learn from them. Still the end product cant touch boxing, not even close....Comment

Thank boxing promoters, managers, and fighters for creating that perception.
UFC/MMA fans are just as ******ed as boxing fans, but UFC/MMA fans understand that what happens in 1 matchup doesn't automatically translate to the next. That's how Pascal can win against Dawson, but lose to Hopkins, then B-Hop lose to Dawson because 1 loss (or 10) doesn't make you a ****ing bum.Comment

It's because there are only x amount of fighters in each division so they're not really much tuning up. There's also no one getting to like 30-0 without fighting anyone....the competition as a whole is stiffer.Comment
