no one is even arguing that UFC fighters get paid less, why do the insecure fans keep bringing this up?

The beauty of the UFC system in that you have one central figure head that acts as the promoter/matchmaker to the more than 350 fighters in the organization. On top of this they have built the brand to the point where no individual fighters name is on the level of the brand. Wether a star fighter loses or wins the fans still have interest in the brand as well as compelling based on match making made possible by a promoter that promotes the brand and not 20 promotors that promote just their fighters

Check your sources. Most of the Vegas UFC shows do not sell out even though those are the biggest gates for the UFC shows. The biggest boxing shows still sell much bigger at the gate also.

and Vera v Shogun is a garbage fight, if it was in boxing people would rip the sport.

The 'beauty' you speak of is already backfiring in 2012. People are sick of the UFC brand name (not going to shell out $60 every month) while at the same time not caring for any of the new names besides Jon Jones.

Can't disagree with you totally but think its based on over saturation of their product as well as less compelling fighters than before. They have so many ppv's a year and haven't really spent time to build the names of some of the newer fighters leading to a "who cares" mentality by many fans regarding some cards. I do think they have a great setup but need to scale back on the number of ppv's they have

UFC has a weak talent pool. They tell you who is good and the sheep eat it up. The fans mostly consist of kids who think they know everything about every sport, and when they talk about boxing I cringe.

The UFC does not always make the best fights. Dana White is just as bad as the worst boxing promoter. Only difference is he controls most top fighters and has a fan base that eats up his every words, so when he chooses to put too big names together he can spin it later on.

Boxing puts on great fights all the time, but people look past that and only talk about May or Pac. The amount of real fans on this site or even in America is sad to me.

nope, you're wrong, do your homework. Bigger and smaller UFC events sell more live gate tickets. typical anti UFC boxing fan

But this is only because Dana White has the power. He tells 2 fighters, this is happening, and this is when its going to happen. They don't really have a choice unless they want to no longer have their UFC contract.

Boxers generally have more freedom with their choices.
