Either way, Mosley had not won a fight in three years. And Mosley has never been impressive at 154 in or out of prime. It was a horrible match up for a title defense and Canelo proved nothing in that fight.

Hernandez isn't the first fighter to get sparked out in the beginning of a match. 154 was a new weight for him, and he absorbed Lara's shots much better than we thought he would. Doesn't mean Lara doesn't have pop, it means that Freddy's punch resistance improved.

I've seen him fight once the p will fight I think he's a good fighter very solid good counter punching good speed decent pop very crafty in other words I like him but damn it seems that people are making him out to be this god in the 154 lb division. Who has he beaten other then pwill past prime serious lay off pwill that suggest he's that great everyone seems to think he should get a shot just because he's talented he has to earn it best thing he should do is stay busy keep getting more experience against who ever get some ko's and build his name cause as of now he has no name value just a tricky fighter that's hard to look good against with great boxing ability but that doesn't mean he'll win all these fights....just my two cents

Canelo got his damn belt by fighting Matthew f-cking Hatton. WTF did Alfonso Gomez do to get a shot, what did Mosley do to get a shot? what did Cintron do to get a shot?

Lara is way more qualified to get a title fight than those 3 guys. You're asking Lara to do things that none of Canelo's 41 opponents have done. You're the one who's actually making Lara look like a god, with your high standards of what he should do to get a title shot.

no, no its not. mosely is absolutely shot. **** im pretty sure if he fought hernandez, he would lose to him. like i said, the performances were very very similar. theres no way u can exalt one and then **** on the other.

Is everyone forgetting about Canelo's scrap with Cotto's older brother(the naturally smaller guy in that fight)? I recall Canelo struggling with him in the begining. Canelo the same guy who was being outboxed by Alfonso Gomez. But folks wanna talk about Lara/Molina?

I think folks should back up off Lara a bit. The guy is very good. And Im still not sold on Canelo after these last 3 years.

to be fair to canelo he was just a boy when that happened, and that was his first "big" fight in america.

there's something to be said of a kid who is less than 20 who goes undefeated in 35 fights, even if they're all in mexico.

the kid has talent and skills. no doubt about it. we'll see how far he goes. the hate for him is unfounded and troubling.
