weights will give you a hard push. Power is mass x velocity. weights wont help.

they can help you take a shot and give you better strength in the clinch though.

HAHAHAHA!!! Ur trying hard arent You...1 I always thought he was a natural puncher until you guys said other wise, 2, I NEVER Said weight lifting was the ONLY WAY to increase your power, I said it was the EASIEST way!...Man ur trying to troll, but to me it seems like ur just trying to hard..the facts is, Im right, and ur wrong!..Weight lifting can make u strong as shiet!, Im a living witness! I dont care what u say, I think for myself! Boxing guys are stuck in this mindset that power comes from here, or there....those are complex theories..."oh it comes from ur hip" thats somewhat true...but my theory is simplistic....Ur bicep is closer to ur fist than ur hip is, and curling, increasing the strength will make u a KO Artist..common sense!

          Explosive lifting can.

That's the purpose, to increase the velocity and explosiveness in a movement.

What does teaching him how to box, have to do with him being a puncher, genuis?, Again, using unimpressively, slick, ways to change the subject!, Nope, not impressed!

Its not that much weight for deadlifting I weigh 165 and can deadlift what Khan is doing (if he actually did it that is).

Off topic but, was watching worlds strongest man the other day and the guys on that were deadlifting with 500 lb weights on both sides. That **** looked insane with those giant ass weights on the bar haha
