People don't seem to even know who Manuel Medina is. Come on, listing fighters like Kats, Juarez and I have no doubt arguing that fighters like Judah, Quintana, Malignaggi, margarito etc are better?

Medina made history and joined Sugar Ray Robinson as the only two fighters in history to be five-time world champions in the same division.

        JMM aka Manny's papi

        no thought needed.
if Pacroid is supposedly #1 p4p and Marquez beat the #1 p4p last november, then what does that tell you?

Torres: undefeated, came back to win a championship
Malignaggi: undefeated, came back to win a championship
Maussa: undefeated, came back to win a championship
Quintana: undefeated, came back to win a championship
Judah: came back to win a championship
Mosley: became THE lineal welterweight champion after Cotto loss
N'dou: came back to win a championship
Clottey: solid former champ and this was meant to be a unification fight!
Not to forget he beat former champions like Cesar Bazan & Corley.

OK, can someone now tell me what Marquez's opponents achieved after he fought them?

And for the record, HBO had Barrera beating Marquez even though Barrera was robbed by Nady when he had Marquez down. I respect Juan Manuel but he lost to Chris John and Norwood.

            Why does that matter?

All that matters is how many Champions and Titles he's won. Doesn't it?

Isn't that what you said in your other threads?

              You must be forgetting this is the same guy that listed these as the only notatable wins on Barrera and Morales resume;

              "Morales - Pacquaio and Barrera."

              "Barrera - Morales and Juarez"

This is the kind of ignorance you are dealing with here.

I agree. JMM is an awesome fighter but his biggest wins are against faded opponents. MAB & Casamayor. You could say he beat Manny but the socres disagree.

Cotto has beaten better fighters who were at their peak. and if you say JMM beat Manny then you may be able to say Cotto has beaten Tony twice due to him cheating the first time.

Also JMM was battered and was given a boxing masterclass by Floyds where as Cotto put up a great fight and made mayweather look like he was in a real fight.

it's a toos up but i'd go with Cotto. Plus he is more entertaining and always get value for money with him.

                  Almost 40% voted Cotto.

                  Good grief.
