I do not debate paydays. I leave those for Pac-Floyd fans. I debate the fighters, resumes & things important to legacy not pocket lining. That post was moreso concerning Collazo & Hatton, which weight Hatton was better at & so forth.

If you consider him a lower tier ATG like you said you do then no, it doesn't.
I thought I posted already I rank him around 50......

Not talking credentials, talking about Hatton the fighter. What was so different between him at 140 to 147? You also have to admit that before Floyd, Collazo was the best fighter Hatton fought.

take a poll who thinks hatton was a better fighter at 140 or 147

What hatton says in the paper is shi t. that's called selling the fight.
I think Hatton is the SAME fighter at 140 as at 147.

It's not like Hatton "got fat" at 147. He simply didn't have to dry out on fight week.

He was 152 on fight night at 140 and at 147. The problem is that he faced Floyd at 147.

But can you imagine what the 140 Floyd (see Gatti) would have done to Hatton?

Remember... it was Hatton (NOT FLOYD) who wanted to postpone the fight. After seeing the Gatti fight, Hatton asked for more time. And Floyd went to WW immediately.

Hatton wanted the fight at 147... not Floyd.

so the lineal title meant more at 147 than at 140 now. weird.

floyd signed a contract for a fight at 144 after a 2 year layoff AFTER the hatton fight, but you know he couldn't make 140.
What does that have to do with anything?

The Lineal Title didn't mean more now.

Mayweather was campaigning at 147 and Hatton happily fought him at 147.

And, fighting at 140 would have made no difference and you are yet to give any reason why it would.

I'd have taken the fight any weight. 140 or 147. Again, it makes no difference.

As for the last sentence. Again, I'm not sure what relevance that has.

He couldn't make 144 in 09 and I doubt he could have even made 140 in 07.

In fact, I could find the ESPN video where BKenny (?) was challenging Floyd about why he won't face Baldo.

..and then all ChickenFraudCowardDuck's detractors hopped on that bandwagon.

                True story.
I know about that video, but I'm talking about boxing guys, like Fisher, Rafael, Lance, Kim etc.

all you can find is the one Kenny video I bet. That was TV.

But the minute Floyd didn't make weight for his catchweight showdown with Marquez, I knew he was a full fledged welter & he'd probably been for some time.
WAIT - the reason Floyd didn't make weight for Marquez is because he didn't want to, and never tried.

Pretty sure you didn't. Unless you can quote yourself an show me.

Top 50 ATG is not a lower tier ATG.

All you said was "Lower tier ATG"
