so my argument that Floyd could have fought margs instead of baldo, hatton at 140 instead of 147, sergio at 160 and Manny back in '09-'10 and that would make him a top 25 atg is a poor argument and enhanced his status?

He fought him in his prime I have no reason to think he would have avoided it were they both at 140 for an extended period like Pacquaio and Mayweather are now and have been.

Mayweather was campaigning at 147, a belt holder at 147 and Hatton was absolutely fine with fighting at 147.

I doubt Mayweather would have made 140 in 07 either, IMO.

SO floyd should both give Hatton his biggest payday and move down to his weight to fight him. WHen in history has any champion done this.
