I've noticed it too. I think it's just great these two are finally getting in the ring together.

What makes you think he did? Did you read something in the papers? Which must make it true, you know all those reports that Ricky "wanted" Floyd at 147.

lets bet on floyd v manny and floyd v sergio.
I bet anything you want, floyd never fights sergio at 160.
i'll also bet that Floyd and Manny don't fight in 2012 and that IF it happens in 2013, it's nowhere near as good of a win as if floyd fought manny in 2009-10.
pac's star appears to be falling and floyd lost a big opportunity there.) and Pacquaio in 09.
Let's pretend Mayweather avoided all those fights (or didn't "seek them out". Still not sure what the implication there is)
That still doesn't take him from the lower tier of ATG's to Top 25.

People all jump to the conclusion that that performance was down to Hatton.
Where does Collazo get credit? HE is the reason Hatton looked like ****.
What I find funny with your post however, is that you said the fight proved Hatton isn't as effective when fighting much bigger guys than him. Instead of saying Collazo proved such & such.
But also, the Hatton fight was around the time every Floyd fan was saying he was tiny. So he could have easily took his then tiny a$$ back to 140 & spanked Hatton at Hatton's best weight.

He fought him in his prime I have no reason to think he would have avoided it were they both at 140 for an extended period like Pacquaio and Mayweather are now and have been.
This is why I have been laughing this whole time.
You genuinely believe, that not only Mayweather beating Hatton at 140 would enhance his legacy more than the win he has now. But, you also think he avoided itOr "didn't seek it out"

I doubt Mayweather would have made 140 in 07 either, IMO.
He wasn't and isn't a big WW but he's not that small of one.

So what do you mean by seeked out? He did or didn't avoid Hatton at 140? (I laugh even at the idea of that) And why should I figure it out when you are the one making the claim?
So let's go over it, to you, Mayweather is a lower tier ATG. Which I assume is the bottom 100.
Yet, if only he'd seeked out Hatton at 140 and a few other active fighters, he'd be elevated a those 75 places?
And you're genuinely surprised this notion is being laughed at?
who said 75 places? Please quote me on that because I;ve asked you to quote me on other things that you said I said but you seem to ignore those requests.
Those active fighters are quickly becoming something similar to beating Shane after a 16 month layoff at 38 compared to a fresher mosley from 2006.
he had chances to fight both when they were hotter (but manny can erase some of that by spanking bradley)
