I have to be honest.. I jsut dont see anyway pac beats sergio. Anyway at all.

The way pac would be hit is different then you guys are use to. An entirely different type of snap and ferocity in Martinez's connected punches. It just looks really bad for pac imo, plus martinez is just so cagey and the complete opposite of what pac looks good against - Squared up flat footed fighters.

I cannot believe that realistically people think manny has some sort of chance of doing something against martinez at any weight. just like floyd, sergio is a better fighter than pacquiao, and combined with the much bigger size advantage, pacquiao has ZERO chance of beating him. yea pac will "put hands on him", when he's trying with all his little heart to land something that counts, and sergio will either eat the punch and laugh, or not even realize it hit him. what the hell is wrong with some of you people I mean seriously, youre talking about little pacquiao fighting sergio martinez. lol. unbelievable...

(and I cant wait for some tard to bring up margarito beating sergio and pac man handling margarito lmao, cant wait...)

i think all the pre-fight talk of pacquiao's bout with oscar, "oscar is too big, too powerful, will finally be realised in this fight if it were to happen...

it should be a great fight...

if u remember the pre-fight talk with pacquiao's first ascent to 147 to face oscar, it was really about oscar being too huge and pacquiao too small and all...

            it hasn't happened right?

now a fight with martinez that same hype and pre-fight talk would almost certainly be realised come fight time...

Oh I remember. I also remember Oscar weighted less than Pacman & was severly compromised.

im not picking MP to win, and im not making any prediction... but here are some points...

MP is a a lot better than macklin, pavlik and williams... the gap in skill and talent is quite wide if u ask me...

martinez is quite hittable and MP has shown to hurt naturally bigger fighters... and MP is quite sharp in finding gaps...

martinez can counter but not like JMM he can...'martinez uses his underrated quickness to counter the lumbering fighters he faced... MP is simply quicker than any fighter martinez has faced...

MP is hittable too but the guy has quite a tough chin... (though martinez can end it anytime if and when he connects his money shots cleanly)

MP has a chance but he is definitely the underdog for this hypothetical fight... thats why it is so intriguing and quite frankly i want it to happen... at 154...

Two reasons why Pacquaio at the very least has somewhat a chance.

Pacquaio would also be the best fighter he's faced.

I'm not saying Pacquaio will win but it isn't a fight he can't win.

                    He should take the fight.
Name wise? Sure. Reality wise. Hell no. Pavlik, Williams and Cintron(when he fought him) are much greater than anything Pac has done at WW.

Pac would be an afternoon walk in the park after that run.

Mater of fact, Macklin would probably tap Pacs ass @ 154.

Macklin was a much tougher foe than Mosely was for Pac. He didnt box as good as JMM but good enough and big enough to beat the breaks off Pac.

Finally some decent points to expose. For 1, it isn't a fact that he's better than any of those guys you've mentioned.

Pacman gets hit far more than Martinez & he really doesn't do much with a fighter that moves & Martinez is definately that.

Pacman is quicker than anyone Martinez has faced. However in that same note, so is Martinez to anyone Pacman has faced.

Yeah Pacman has a sturdy beard as high as 147. But so did the Punisher at any weight.

I think Pacman gets sonned badly.
