Difference being, Wepner is a mere footnote in Ali's career. I would say he has maybe 20 greater wins at least, than Wepner in his career. Where as, Vitali beating a Chuck Wepner caliber boxer is considered a career defining win for him.

Wepner was certainly more proven at Heavyweight than Adamek was, a guy who is arguably Vitali's best win to date. That's how stark the difference is between Ali's resume and Vitali's, my good sir.
