Yes I know for a fact that Holmes had a torn shoulder muscle. And Holmes is one person. Next?

I woundn't expect you to know this since you're oblivious when it comes to heavyweights outside of the Klitchskos, and their opponents.

    • I wouldnt favour anybody over Ali at his consummate best

      • Only person I'd favour over a prime Ali would probably be Joe Louis.

Still, Ali is a problem for anyone really. His hand and foot speed and reflexes were just ridiculously fast for someone his size.

Really? I think Ali would have handled Louis fairly easily.

          • Nobody would be able to touch him in terms of being the odds on fav if they fought. A prime Ali was not the one who beat foreman or fraizer, he was the person sitting on his couch during his ban. He is definitely the most gifted heavyweight ever, the guy had the speed of a crusierweight, and the power of a heavyweight with an iron chin and boxing skills as good as any

the fact as the best due to the ban, then came back past his prime to reclaim his throne against some of the best heavyweights ever shows his class. This isnt the klits who came back to beat bums to get to the top, ali beat actual proper live heavyweights

Thats not to say nobody could beat Ali, i certainly think foreman and Tyson on their day would say beat Ali say 2 or 3 times out of 10, simple because they had the power to do so.

to answer your question, no I would not favour anyone to beat him however an underdog would do so perhaps like tyson or foreman with a bit of luck

Intimidation had nothing to do with it. Mike Tyson was a derranged person at that time. He came across and tried to hurt you when you opened your mouth to him. That's all I'm saying.

Ali beat Frazier, Foreman, and Liston. That's a fact. Not "power of suggeststion." Power of suggeststion is when you fantasize that Vitali beats Ali and every great heavyweight easily. Fantasy not fact.
How are those wins so amazing? Those guys were so one dimensional it's pitiful. How do those rank him best all time? He ran his mouth better than anyone. That's it. He suggested he was the greatest and everyone followed suit in calling him that. Joe Louis craps all over Ali in my opinion. Louis is the greatest all time and it's not debatable.

P.S. Vitali Klitschko beats them both along with Foreman, Frazier and Liston with no real problem.

This proves what a dunce you are thinking that a torn shoulder muscle and a torn rotator cuff are anywhere in the same ballpark. If anything you should have went with Holyfield tearing his cuff and finishing his fight. Get out of here already you moron. Jump off the nearest cliff mr. know it all internet nerd.

                    • Late 60's Ali was the greatest heavyweight ever.

You have a 6'3 guy with blinding speed, elite skill and stegosaurus sized balls. There has never been a faster Heavyweight. Footspeed/Handspeed/Bob & Weave speed he had it all.

When he came back in the 70's he lost a bit of that athleticism, but still beat all the top contenders of that era.
