Vitali, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis. That's hating?

Lewis was landing bombs on him and Lennox wasn't anywhere near prime. I like Vitali but I'm not a nuthugger.

You and that other dude are on some funny ****. You guys diss one fighter, then turn around and praise them. You two are some weird dudes. First Vitali's resume is filled with journeymen, and then next moment your all up Vitali's ass against Lennox.

    Uhhh. Flip flopper much.
I don't think you are refering to me bud. I havn't changed my stance on Vitali aside from when he came out of retirement, which I knew he would eventually. He is an enigma and was beating Lennox and deserved the rematch. He didn't get it because Lennox knew he was going to get taxed again and may not get a lucky cut win again. He was going to get stopped. Oh, and Lennox being nowhere near prime is BS. He beat Tyson and looked every much his best in his previous fight.

when you rip somebody's face apart to that degree you win the fight, dude

you can go blind in there
vitali had cuts all the way down to the muscle

his face was a complete mess
lennox did that with clean and effective punching

who cares about the rounds vitali won?
who cares? did vitali's face make it to the scorecards?

if you cant protect your face from being that badly destroyed you lose the fight

        vitali lost to lennox lewis
and he lost to chris byrd.
those happen to be the two best fighters he ever fought, for whatever it's worth. the amount of rounds you win means nothing if you cant make it to the scorecards.

        he's still a dominant HW
he's still going to get into the HOF
        he's still a great fighter

        but he's been stopped twice
        get over it

I didn't read most of that but I would like to know where I said Vitali won?

Secondly, yes I'm fully aware that Vitali lost two fights. One by an injury and another by doctor stoppage over cuts while he was leading on the cards of both. It's no mystery.

Oh I forgot Vitali went into that fight planning on allowing Lennox to land 65% of his power shots and turn his face into road pizza all the while hanging on to Lennox for dear life the last two rounds

I don't think V was "handling " him. It was a competitive fight he was up on the cards at the time of the stoppage. That said, both were exhausted but Lewis was coming on and I believe it only would have gotten worse if it had gone on considering the damage to his eye.

Ernie Terrell. Which isn't all that 'significant' of a win, considering how past it he was, but he was ranked in the top 10 when Wepner beat him nonetheless, which makes it a more 'significant' of a win than any single victory that Chris Arreola has had to date.

Which = Wepner > one of Vitali's greatest career wins.

                  Wepner > 95% of Vitali's resume.

Wepner isn't even one of Ali's top 20 best wins

In other words, you're completely incapable of backing up your laughable assertions with FACTS, and the root of your argument(s) in defense of your man-crush(es), is based mainly on emotion and blind, ****-****** fanboy love. :gay:

Vitali went into the fight wanting to engage. That's what happened. He was winning and his face didn't hold up. That doesn't mean he wasn't getting the better of Lennox and didn't deserve a rematch. Wise up.
