Funny thing the Klits aren't my favorite boxers. Hell I don't even think they are in the top 10 all time for me in being my favorites but I give props where it is and they definitely deserve to be more appreciated. Except people like you are so butthurt that someone that you don't like is dominating the competition but give love to boxers you like much more credit for ****tier stuff. Like getting knocked out by sub par competition.
      Answer the ? then Einstein......

I think your referring to the Klits getting ko'd by sub par comp..... In this thread I picked Holmes.... Tell me who was he knocked out by again???

You were referring to the Klits and Wlad getting knocked out by Ross Purity.

I posted other greats that got knocked out. You know the guy who is leading the poll is Lewis right? He GOT KNOCKED OUT by a sub par dude in his peak. I thought you said you were done? You keep coming back to me like an abused wife.

Voted lewis as i feel hes the best heavyweight of the bunch.

With that said, I've always underestimated Holmes and his abilities while being a big Lennox Lewis fan (biased).
It's quite hard to argue his results though.

Question was whos the greatest tho, and that's another debate.

In terms of resume/greatness it's probably something like:
Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, Wlad?, Bowe, Vitali.

Not so sure on the last three. I feel Bowe has the better wins, but hes Wlads body of work and number of defences is greater.
Vitali is obviously last in terms of resume.

edit: scratch that ^. I feel quite strongly that Wlad is greater than Bowe when i think about it.
I always get clouded by the "what ifs" regarding Bowe.

I brought up Ross ko'ing Wlad you said Ali and Foreman lost to Spinks and Young by UD..... I said its not as bad as getting ko'd in your prime by Puritty.... You said they were greats and shouldn't have lost period...... Losing to a Gold medal winner while ur past prime isn't as bad as getting ko'd by a sub par guy in your prime...... Losing a UD to a bum isnt as bad as getting ko'd by one..... Flip what??? It's really that simple

I also mentioned Tyson vs Douglas. In this thread I mentioned as well with Lewis getting knocked out at his peak. How about those? Let me guess, you're going to try to weasel yourself out of that one too?

Since you want to go the Gold Medal route, Mercer was a gold medalist in god knows how long since the last one for the US and Wlad knocked him OUT. You give Wlad credit?

People seem to gloss over Lewis's two very poor KO's losses to B class opposition because, I assume, he stopped Vitali K on a cut. Truth is Vitali is the far more dominant fighter by any measure: KO's, rounds one, never dropped, opponents records.. And okay, Lewis rematched and beat these two guys he was knocked down by, but it was more than he offered VK who only lost on an injury. I would put Holyfield above Lewis because he would have immediately rematched VK and not quit like a p ussy after he promised a rematch in the ring.

Lewis and Tyson have resumes that trump Wlads and V's.... Sadly there isn't worthy challengers around like in those guys eras where they can fight/beat and beat their chest afterwards.... I like the fact u brought up Mercer but leave out Ali was past prime when he took the L..... But hey like I said both guys resumes trump the Kilts and it's not even really a debate.... I like the Klits btw not the biggest fan but I respect them.... I just think they are what they r and color/race has nothing to do with it which was ur original point.... The two best fighters Vit faced he took a tko while Wlads chin couldn't hold up to lesser guys he had no business losing to.... If you compare that/them to past greats IMO they don't stand up..... Not an easy out for anyone but I don't think neither are top 10 HW when talking ATG when we have what we have to go off of

Yeah, but the best win on Lewis's resume by a mile is Vitali. Do you see the irony? It's defo not the KO of the spent Tyson or the narrow points win over Holyfield.
