Floyd is the product of evolution. He is almost perfect.
yeah except Boxing has shrunk big time as of late. Because it doesn't have one governing body.

Athletically, Mayweather and Pacquiao are products of evolution perhaps. They are both very technical, fast, and don't tire.

Skillwise, There was actually probably more out there 25-30 years ago.

Nope didn't do that either..And don't have any friends who did. So you're wrong there as well.
What does biological evolution have to do with what I said? You think floyd has a another limb or something?

You guys are forgetting about Floyd's efficiency... His slow work rate makes his opponents work slower too, often leading to more shots missed on their part...

You're the one who claimed Floyd was a "product of evolution"......Do you know of another kind of evolution that science has yet to discover?

I mean half of the defensive positions and maneuvers come from years and years of previous boxing fights right? So looking at what floyd does in the ring i.e. how he basically learns the style of the fighter he is facing and then puts together a plan to defeat the opponent in the very same ring (WHILE HE'S FIGHTING THE OPPONENT) is something that nobody else does. He would have to posses the ability to fight in any type of style defensively and offensively. No?

Ok so my use of the work evolution was not to your liking. you have never heard that someone has evolved as a person or anything evolving. You only hear the term around the lab. Is that right?

The next time you are in the laboratory maybe you can figure out a way to make yourself less of an ******.

                  Makes sense.

This is what I'd add though. Floyd had the opportunity to learn and gather information from the past greats. SRR, SRL, Louis etc etc. They were the pioneers, Floyd got the chance to put it all together. Something that they didn't have the opportunity to do.

I think you're absolutely right. Which is why he is what we have today.
