Floyd is a better offensive fighter than Manny! Pac-JMM & PBF-JMM fights prove it.

His defense comprises of simply putting his guard up to avoid punches. His counter punching sucks and so does his timing.
What about mannys double jump step before he punches?

I disagree with TS. Pacquaio is obviously better offensively than Mawyweather.

But, this whole idea that "Marquez was chasing down Mayweather" is utter bull****.

Marquez didn't 'chase' Mayweather anywhere. Mayweather was infront of him most of the night.

And rounds 6, 10 and 11 Mayweather was actually the aggressor, not Marquez.

Mayweather was slipping and blocking, obviously. But theat doesn't mean Marquez was 'chasing him' and the majority of the fight they were both infront of each other, boxing.

Bad style match up for Marquez, absolutely. But what the **** does that matter or mean?

I think Manny is more offensive minded, I guess one can look at that as being a better offensive fighter.

If I was looking at whose offensive talents I wanted I would say Floyd, he does more things well than Manny and is much more efficient which allows him to be better on defense because he doesn't have to sell out to hit the other guy.

I think it is a decent debate as they are both really good offensive fighters, just one that is their focus while the other one it is part of a larger picture.

You are right Marquez wasn't chasing he was leading, he was being the bull while Floyd was being the Matador. We all know that Marquez doesn't lead, he's not really an attacking fighter. Thats why Floyd had such an easy night with him. That and floyd is two weight classes bigger than JMM.

What it means is that Floyd's win over Marquez does not mean he automatically beats Pac. Thats what it means!!!!

I have to disagree with you because for one when does Floyd ever really attack? See Floyd throws a really beautiful Counter right, he has a good jab, but other than that I just see a really really athletic fighter with great defensive skills.

To say he does things better than pac, well yeah he has that counter right but when does he ever throw enough punches so we can compare the too?

Floyd attacks plenty~ he throws a beautiful right hand lead and a great left hook off it. His one-two is stellar. His body work is also first rate~

Then there is counter punching which he is also good at, but part of why is good is that he is good leading also which makes guys have to fight then Floyd picks them apart,

Pac knocks people out, he bloodies their face, he throws more than 30 punches a round. It really isn't that complicated.
