My first point was in response to your post saying you only post based on facts. Who would win in these fantasy matches or ATG lists is just an opinion. There is nothing fact about it. Just pointing out the contradiction.

My point later became the same that I have seen many other direct to you as well. Merely asking why, and requesting that you quit with the condescending attitude all the time. You seem to have quite the superiority complex.

As for the picture, sometimes thats the best way to convey a message. A picture is worth a thousand words. For a man who constantly likes to talk down to everyone with a condescending attitude and a holier than thou, my **** doesnt stink type tone, that picture conveyed my point perfectly.

Well, I'm sorry you have this ATTITUDE. Perhaps it's an inferiority complex. I can't answer for YOUR feelings, and I couldn't personally give a tinkers curse. I don't see why I have to lower my life-long standards to make you feel a little more "equal". If you want to express yourself in vulgar crudities, that's your choice. I don't have to stoop to it.

As for the comments about OPINION, I have been much closer to the eras and actual hardships than you have, and feel I understand them better, understand just what it takes to have achieved what those ATGS achieved, and to express that present day products of the cradle-to-the-grave security net, couldn't do it.

You can disagree as you wish, but trying to make me feel small about it is futile. I KNOW where I come from. You have managed to change a discussion on boxing to an attack on my "superior" attitude............... Enjoy it, because as from now I stop responding.

Sometime in the ,I think, 1980's, Laszlo Papp was given a special award by Jose Suleiman on behalf of WBC that he was the greatest boxer, both amateur and professional of the
20th century, presumably up to the date of the Special Award. I can't help your feelings.
Personally, having seen them both fight, I believe that a PRIME Papp, whom we never saw as a Pro, would tear Mayweather to pieces. He was a guy who would just NOT BE BEATEN.

He was so good that the Communist Bloc Governments, of hundreds of millions of people, who had NO PROFESIONAL SPORTS, were forced to allow him at age 32, to turn Pro. The ONLY ONE .

Well, he may or may not have been, but nobody in boxing had ever done what he had up until then, and was not to do it for another 20 years. You might find it instructive to read up on the history of a guy who had a 301-6 amateur record when there really was no difference between amateur and pro boxing except the length of the bouts which were a max of 6 rds, and sometimes the length of the rounds. {And these guys all worked for a living, no managers to bail them out and give them handouts}.

He was outsized and outweighed often. The guy was a small welterweight, 5'5" tall fighting as a middleweight. he was smaller than me, and I was a featherweight. I didn't know his height then, only that he just about came up past my ear.

                There you go again... smh...

You have a very transparent defense mechanism. I cant imagine how miserable a human has to be to act the way you do.

Now Im really done being off topic TS. My bad. He may choose to ignore our comments, but at least I did my part to help inform him of his glaring flaw. Its up to him to learn to be a better person though. Cant help him there. Change starts within.

But why not try answering his question?

there are videos of Papp fighting as a professional, while he was European champ.

I like Papp, hes one of the most impressive amateurs ever and I love different styles like his, since he was so short for his weight. but his best wins were over guys that werent even the best 10 in their division...its a bit ridiculous to say that Papp is greater than Mayweather. Mayweather accompished so much more than him.

well now ive think ive heard it all. so basically what ur saying is him possibly being the greatest amateur fighter of all time gets him more in the professional field than it does floyd, who actually achieved greater things as a pro?
