The ts motives are quite clear. He will spin anything to make floyd look bad or pac look good (jabs dont count).

I like Papp, hes one of the most impressive amateurs ever and I love different styles like his, since he was so short for his weight. but his best wins were over guys that werent even the best 10 in their division...its a bit ridiculous to say that Papp is greater than Mayweather. Mayweather accompished so much more than him.
Did you ever read how he got started? He was sitting watching the fightoffs for the National team, and the Champion's opponent didn't turn up. They asked for volunteers, so they togged him out and he KO'd the Champion. So he was picked for his very first International fight just like that.
What we see on tape is a guy who is probably 12-14 years PAST his best, but was so good that it just wasn't so noticeable. By the way, thanks for the Pro link to Papp's fights I have only been able to see him as an amateur, except in a Movietone News short. I recall I saw him beat Ralph "Tiger" Jones, 3-4 KD's, he was the guy who beat Sugar Ray Robinson when he was making his comeback after his dancing career failed. Robinson went on to have many of his most memorable fights with Fullmer and Basilio from then on.
