One way to judge fighters is this:

    1. Look at a fighters last 10 fights.

Apply this concept to when Roy and Bhop fought the first time and second time. Both were on winning streaks the first time around whereas Roy was on a losing streak the second time around.
um yea i know this..i been a Jones fan for years

But this was during a time when fighters didn't scout each other with footage like they do today.
Robinson was a great fighter.and Roy was amazing in his prime, just wish his resume was a bit stronger, but hey he did fight and beat some good comp..a fight between these 2 at 154-160 wouldnt been a site to see but i think Roy wins but wouldnt be shocked if Robinson knocks him out

Prime RJJ vs Hopkins today, the result is the same.

Prime RJJ vs Hopkins in the tito fight, the result is the same.

Prime RJJ is simply a freak of nature. He could beat anybody. Doesn't mean he would win every fight but he can beat any-body. And I'd favor him to not beat but mollywop SRR.

Hopkins himself is a freak of nature, his ring smarts now would spoil the fight..remember the first fight wasnt a blow out it was kind of close.

Nice to see boxingscene still gargles on Roy's balls still.

            To the extreme.

It wasn't a wipe out, but I think Hopkins won maybe 2 or 3 rounds , if that...

True, but I thought the judges were being generous

His fight with Lamotta was a Middleweight fight.

He weighed in as light as a Welterweight but the fight was at Middleweight.

O ok. Kind of like when Mayweather weighed in at 150, but came in at 148 against ODLH for the light middle title...
