Prime Roy Jones Jr>>>>>>> Prime Sugar Ray Robinson

Sugar Ray Robinson and Roy Jones Jr are arguably two of the greatest boxers of all time.

If they both fought at 154lbs, I would give the advantage to Roy Jones based on skill, speed, and power.

Thoughts on who's the greatest overall and who would win at 154 or 160?

No thought to the big natural size advantage for Roy?

    Sugar began as a lightweight.

They were both 5"11. Roy started at 154 and Robinson had to cut to fight at 154.

I think if Robinson had access to the same modern supplements issued today, he probably could've fought at higher weight classes as well.

Roy is much bigger naturally than Ray.

Ray would struggle with someone like Roy at 154-160.

Sugar would have been too crafty for Roy to go along with his onw natural gifts.

Yeah and what about thoughts about the level of opposition whom they looked good against?

SRR had a granite chin, he could take many power punches and stay on his feet, those punches would have KO'd RJJ.

So, although prime RJJ was fast and had very good reflexes, SRR wins that fight !
