In thinkg I DID just notice and ican't understand why I never saw it before, or didn't remember it. When Robinson LOST his middleweight title to Randolph Turpin to make his record 132-2, he had fought a fight in Europe just a week before, and another one just the week before that.

I recall that Robinson went on a "tour" of Europe fighting all their top guys ending up in England with his Turpin fight. I recall that he said that he was keeping in training by fighting and didn't need a camp. Well he paid for it, but of course KO'd Tturpin in the return.
not true 154 was recognized back in 1962

All jokes aside, I seriously think a prime Roy Jones, 1992-2001[I don't think he was really prime in 02-03 he just peaked], would beat anybody. I'm talking about absolutely unstoppable. I mean the way he beat Hopkins, Toney and McCallum so easily, that's just incredible.

The Roy that lost to Hopkins, Calzaghe, Tarver, Ledbev, and Green isn't remotely close to the Roy of 1989-2004. For starters, just look at the way Roy moves. In his older fights, Roy was never stationary and let someone beat on him against the ropes.

One way to judge fighters is this:

                    1. Look at a fighters last 10 fights.

Apply this concept to when Roy and Bhop fought the first time and second time. Both were on winning streaks the first time around whereas Roy was on a losing streak the second time around.

No doubt, 132-1 is amazing. You can count on it not being done again.

But this was during a time when fighters didn't scout each other with footage like they do today.
