Roy jones was amazing but I think Sugar Ray wins. Ray Robinson had a killer instinct that Roy didn't have. Roy would have his moments & put Ray on the canvas, but I'm not sure he would stay busy enough on offense to keep Ray off of him for 15 rounds. Robinson would eventually break Roy Jones down and stop him late.

Mayweather as a welterweight beat a Light Heavyweight in baldomir and a Super middleweight in ODLH.

Roy beat Ruiz who outweighed him by 30+ pounds.

They're both 5'11, I don't think it would've mattered. Just like I think a prime Roy still beats SRR even if SRR had a weight advantage. That's how physically gifted Roy was.

Come on, people have to stop with that "Hopkins was green" crap. It was both of their first title fights, both of their first real test, they were both in the beginning of their pro careers. If you're gonna say one guy was green, say both of them were. Roy Jones was the better green fighter.

Although for "green" fighters at that time, they sure were kicking every other top fighter's ass shortly after that fight, and before too.
