That's not saying he knew specifically about the plaster, but he noticed "something" wasn't right. I know that's a very general statement, but I think you get the point I'm trying to make.

So he admitted ducking him, but it was because he thought something was not right about him.

And there is no evidence that Margarito used loaded hand wraps in a boxing match.

It's ridiculous how people assume that just because the Mayweather's aren't the brightest bulbs in the bunch when it comes to speaking properly and presenting themselves in more presentable fashion, that they don't know boxing...

Boxing is what they know, through and through.

I agree, and they knew that Margarito was threat, they knew Cotto was a thread and they know now Pacquiao is a threat.

If they didn't know boxing they wouldn't know these things.

What a stretch, that's a very general statement. And when you see a guy get his ear mangled, another knotted up to the head within 3 rounds of taking punches upstairs, and another bleeds from his cheeks from your punches, that's a fair comment to make. A lot of PRs thought Margarito was juicing for instance.

True, there is no concrete evidence that proves Marg used plaster prior to Mosley.

But Richardson quotes Javier Capetillo as saying "what's the problem? We always use these wraps". This was said in the locker room immediately after the plaster hand wraps were found.

I also posted a link on page 2 that hinted Margarito could've used the wraps against Cotto.

Agreed. Politics play a major role in public opinion.

                No pun intending there then.

The fact is if the trainers do there job, no one will be able to load their wraps.

If Marg did use them in the Cotto fight, some of the blame you would have to place with Cotto's corner, but Marg and Capetillo should face jail time.

Concrete enough for me. A uncoerced admission to cheating throughout the man's career. Should've been banned for life. I knew the way he came on in the championship rounds against Paul Williams was looking superhuman to me. Took some years off that boy's chin. And he gave it away when he said he thought Williams was a tougher fight than Cotto pre-fight to Larry Merchant. Once they got caught against Mosley, I recalled that knot to the forehead he gave Williams (a punch did that) in short order and how strong dude got at the end of that fight right away.

You said some solid things in that post that make you think.

I was wondering the other day whether or not Marg helped put Williams in the state he's in today. Who knows.
