I like how he says his name is bigger, and when his name is mentioned it's "big". Yeah right, the only time he's in a big headline is when he pulls out of fights, has fights at bars/gets in trouble, or lost to Hopkins. This guy is delusional, the last time he mattered was in 2007. And it's crazy how this guy was being so overpayed but nobody says anything, they only pick on black fighters being overpayed. $2.5Million for Gary Lockett, and people complain about Berto getting $1Mill.

Did you meet him with his shoes off? LOL, Floyd was 5'8 when you met him because he had shoes on.. period. As I said earlier, back when Floyd was about 21 22 years old before his fights he was listed at 5'7 1/2, since then, he has not gotten any taller only larger.. now with shoes on that would make him 5'8 so technically yea I guess you could say he is 5'8 because everyone wears shoes in public.. but on barefeet head to toe, no Floyd's about 5'7 1/2 at the most and it's funny because I can remember on MTV Cribs Floyd exaggerating saying "I'm not that tall, im only about 5'8 or 5'9" LMAO not even close...

Along with a couple of other posts in this thread, why is Mayweather and Pacquiao being mentioned?

All I know is Im 5'9 3/4 and when he gave me dibs (shook my hand) he was right in my face, not much shorter than me. He had on shoes but not high heels,lol. I would say an inch/inch and a half shorter than me and I had on shoes.

Dude 5'8 is only an inch shorter than you.. lol I mean 5'7 1/2 ain't that short, my point being he is much taller than Manny is, but Floyd is very conscious of his height and every press conference he has like the against Mosley or anytime someone is taller than him for that matter, Floyd wears dress shoes(ironically he accused Ortiz of wearing dress shoes when people ? the size difference at their PC), now every man knows that most dress shoes usually have an extended heel that is about 1 inch which would make Floyd go from 5'7 1/2 TO 5'8 1/2, so ijs, I mean you are the one that met him so I can't really argue with you we can just agree to disagree but IMO Floyd is 5'7

That always seems to happen probably because Mayweather and Pacquiao are really the ones carrying boxing and all roads lead to them..

We were comparing Floyd height to Manny and Floyd is definitely not 5'9 or 5'8 and he cant seem kinda short he IS short, doubt you met him at all nor with his shoes off by the way because no one believes Floyd is 5'9 especially without shoes on I've seen Floyd in regular low top shoes at a club and could of sworn he was 5'6 but I give him the benefit of doubt but everybody was complaining about how short he was, how he was baby height, and how they thought he was taller, 5'8 5'9 isn't that short that people would say that rapper T.I. is 5'9 and at the celeb game he seemed to be 1 1/2- 2 inches taller than Floyd

Some of you are straight PUSS*ES I swear, or just complete idiots. First of all if Top Rank are the ones screwing him over then how would he know? This is what a manager does, they do all the negotiating for you, unless you want to do it yourself. You then have your lawyers go over the paper work to double check that, then you should look at it yourself. Secondly, he himself stated this is all the information we got from his manager (20 hours to get the contract in etc.) Why can't his manager be trying to screw him, I mean it isn't like it HASN'T happened in boxing. I mean FFS, if you trust anyone in this world you are an idiot, I've been weed shorted a gram or more so I bought a scale. Why is it always "someone" else's job (Top Rank) to make everything perfect he should know better, period.

Also and I think what is more important is WHY THE **** would Top Rank want to give this clown more money after putting off the fight with Williams twice with a "Staph Infection?" Next thing we know he was in Rehab and in his comeback he looked like trash. Yea TR is going to just give him 500k+ to fight in his own Hometown. If he could actually sell some tickets but the guy didn't even bring enough to cover his own purse. Also to cap it off, some of you are actually siding with a admitted drunk who just beat the **** out of his brother. Now he pulls out of a fight days before? I mean FFS who starts TRAINING for the fight without a contract? You think Mayweather/Manny/Cotto would train for their upcoming fights with no contract in place til a week before? Finally, even if what he says is true you don't pull out of a fight when its on Network TV. Those are your employers more than anyone if you aren't on TV you do not get seen it's that simple. Maybe he was getting d*cked monetarily but he was cashing in major on exposure.
