No one in their right mind calls it a money issue and then burns the bridges of a major boxing network that pays them for future fights. That makes no sense at all. Pavlik has lost to Hopkins and Martinez and has fought nothing and looked like crap since. He has an inflated sense of self worth, especially after being an alcoholic.

I'm amazed that he could MAKE $50K in Youngstown. I would have thought they would have GIVEN the tickets away for this fight and used the site fee money to pay the boxers.

I don't think it's a bad idea for him to SIT OUT his TOP RANK contract either.

He's made enough money with them. Besides TR loves doing mostly IN HOUSE fights (which is why I can't stand them).

Judah then took short money AGAIN ($50K) to fight on FNF in order to reposition himself for big fights.
