And only 1 inch Apart? dude you just sound dumb now, did you not hear HBO commentators complaining about how much bigger and taller Floyd was than Marquez who is 5'7 and a full inch taller than Pacquiao? Floyd was even bigger than Mosley last yr and everyone knows wingspan equals reach so it must factor into the size equation.. man like I said in the real world the size difference is not much, but If you are talking about putting them inside a 12X12 boxing ring at 147 with their shoes on Mayweather would make Pacquiao look so small he'd look like he should be fighting back at 140.. the size difference is pretty much non debatable no matter which way you try an phrase it because as you can see already no one agrees with your assessment, IJS doesn't necessarily mean Floyd will win but he is much bigger than Pacquiao, what you are saying is like someone stating that Floyd and Sergio are the same size because Sergio is only 2 inches taller.. the difference in size between Sergio and Floyd is just about the same as Floyd and Manny give or take 12 pounds..
Mayweather is thicker than Pacquiao. Pacquiao may be more defined, but Mayweather definitely has more mass. Never disputed that, nor have I diputed he has a longer reach. I simply think you are inaccurate in the height difference.

Managers will rip your ass just like a promoter will. Pav is right o this one. You dont go from making 300gs to 50 when you didnt lose your last fight. Somethings funny about those numbers.
You also don't spend months in Alcoholism rehabilitation either? I believe that this fight was part of a GEHABILITATION plan that Top Rank had arranged for Pavlik, who certainly needed it as his reputation was in tatters. Still is, although worse now.

That's why the fight was in his HOMETOWN.......

Sergio is 5'10 but his walk around weight is in the 180 neighborhood. According to Ariza and Roach Manny's weight goes up to 150-152, so Manny and Floyd are around the same size. Floyd's body is more defined evenly where Manny's weight is in his head and his legs. Sergio is much bigger than the 2 but a fight @ 154 is fair game.
Did you meet him with his shoes off? LOL, Floyd was 5'8 when you met him because he had shoes on.. period. As I said earlier, back when Floyd was about 21 22 years old before his fights he was listed at 5'7 1/2, since then, he has not gotten any taller only larger.. now with shoes on that would make him 5'8 so technically yea I guess you could say he is 5'8 because everyone wears shoes in public.. but on barefeet head to toe, no Floyd's about 5'7 1/2 at the most and it's funny because I can remember on MTV Cribs Floyd exaggerating saying "I'm not that tall, im only about 5'8 or 5'9" LMAO not even close...

            • Someone would have to be ignorant or ******ed to think that calling someone a WHITE DRUNKARD is not racist. There is NO REASON to use the word "WHITE" next to DRUNKARD when we all know what Pavlik's color is!! The only person using the word WHITE in that CONTEXT is a racist! That is ***ing obvious!!!!

All I know is Im 5'9 3/4 and when he gave me dibs (shook my hand) he was right in my face, not much shorter than me. He had on shoes but not high heels, lol. I would say an inch/inch and a half shorter than me and I had on shoes.

                • In case he still wants to fight: KELLY, OPEN YOUR OWN PROMOTION COMPANY and let other people help you. Klitchko and many others did so and it worked

AT the end of the day it's a business and Pavlik is on the downslide of his career where business is super important.
He was getting those inflated numbers when he was the champ, now he's just an ex titlist coming off the couch with multiple health and personal issues. You're exactly right that he is on the downside of his career where business is super important, so why turn down a seven figure payday and burn bridges with Showtime, when HBO is already sick of his antics and he's got another year or so left on the contract with his promoter who he just screwed too. That's a bad business move., if he sits out a year I guarantee there aren't gonna be any big paydays out there for him. He needs to stay busy and try to repair his fan base, Ward, Froch, Bute are all gonna be busy with fights with each other and others at the top of the division and light heavyweights, Pavlik will be on the couch regretting the worst business decision ever.

True but Pav feels that he has established a fan base and it should be worth a certain amount. I agree with him. If he can pack out his home crowd it should be worth more than 50gs. I definitely think he has gotten away with a lot of BS but going into a big championship fight he should be getting more than 50gs.
