"Both times I thought we'd be able to make the fight, it didn't happen," Greenburg said. "The second time, I don't know why it didn't happen. You need to talk to Floyd Mayweather about that. I don't know why he wouldn't fight Manny this fall."

Btw. All of your quotes from those clipping are from the first round of negotiations and are coming from Richard Shcaffer. I didn't quote Bob Arum, because it would obviously be biased towards Pacquiao.
And to answer your question, "How can anyone ask why are people questioning Manny Pacquiao now?" -- Because the seed of this question was planted by the Mayweathers. And it's entirely baseless! Get it?Last edited by myxmlcigar; 05-16-2011, 03:34 AM.

But anyways, he then agreed to 7 days, and even went on to mention that he'll agree with the random test if the commissioner tells him. Not some guy named FLoyd. Who's Floyd?

I posted these facts over a year ago on multiple boxing forums when this PED rumor was first ignited by Mayweather Sr. To my surprise, the orginal posts were reomoved by the Site Admins. I can only assume that truth is sometimes harder to swallow than innuendo, unsubstantiated insinuations, or rumors. Hopefully this post will stay up.

The Mayweather Family Saga

FACT: 1979 - Tony Sinclair (Mayweather Jr's Uncle) shoots Floyd Mayweather Sr. in the lower left leg with a 20-gauge ******* late on Jan. 21, 1979, after an ongoing argument.
"I'd told Tony Sinclair, [brother of Deborah, Mayweather's mother] to move on from living with us. He came through the bedroom door with a *******. I said, "You gonna kill me? Well, do what you've got to do. But you're going to kill me and my baby." With Floyd in my arms I had a better chance. He shot my left leg. Blew off a piece of it. I continued fighting and became the number-one contender."

Rumor: Josie Harris was paid an undiclosed monthly retainer by Floyd Jr. to recant her story.

Final Thoughts
Excluding the rumor mill stuff, which I don't find improberable at all, it's freakin amazing that anybody would lend any credibility to anything that comes out of the Mayweather's mouths. Past history shows a clear pattern of drug trafficking, domestic violence, and a total disregard for the RULES and law - I'm not just talking about boxing rules here, but rules in life!
For idots like the Mayweathers to even question Pacquiao's integrity, is much like a drug-dealer questioning the ethics of a thief. It's f***ing hypocritcal!
And all you Mayweather fan's questioning Manny's ability to exceed all expectations and attributing it to PED usage; it's just another excuse. You need to find something to take down that little asian that you so desperately hate and want to see loose. So instead of Manny being taken down in the ring, you resort to personal integrity attacks ignited by a convicted felon. You lazy ass loosers need toA) get a job
B) learn the meaning of hard work and doing something with purpose and conviction C) Produce some sort of pattern on Manny. Anything! But please, don't spew out the same verbal diahhrea that you 'think' he's using something because Manny has been able to do what he has moving up. That's just speculation. There's nothing wrong with speculation but you need to back it up with something!
Here's my speculation rooted in the evidence and pattterns:
1. Floyd Jr. is more adept and willing to beat on the mother of his childeren. He's definitely not afraid to take on any challengers, as long as they are women!!
2. Uncle Roger has no respect for anybody. How the hell does anybody beat the **** out of a grandmother? He must be taking some serious "A-side meth".
3. Floyd Sr. is still dealing drugs. Alright, that's not fair... I take that back. But there's something fishy about Floyd Sr.... Really brah... I think he's on something. Ain't nuttin right about the guy... I mean, how the hell can anybody be that ****** without being gooped up on gop? I'm tellin ya man... he's on something.
4. And the most de****able testament to Floyd Sr's character is in his own words, "With Floyd in my arms I had a better chance. He shot my left leg. Blew off a piece of it. I continued fighting and became the number-one contender."
What the f**k? How any father would jeopardize the life of his own child to protect his own is disturbing and down right insane!
These baseless claims on Pacquaio's character are no longer isolated to the ring. It's become a personal witch hunt. And if you want to have a character debate between Pacquiao and Mayweather - Pac will win hands down. Mayweather Jr. has risen out of poverty through hard work. I can respect the guy for that. But so has Manny. The difference is Mayweather Jr. is doomed to repeat all the mistakes from his past. His actions don't prove otherwise!
-RM
Ps - I don't truly believe that all Floyd fan's are out of a job or need to learn the value of hard work. Just some of them.
This one deserve its own thread and should be stickied.

Errr... hello!!!!! I just posted that it was Ross Greenburg (the pres. of HBO Boxing) that was quoted as saying Mayweahter didn't want the fight. And I'm sure he had the inside track on the 2nd round negotiations.
"Both times I thought we'd be able to make the fight, it didn't happen," Greenburg said. "The second time, I don't know why it didn't happen. You need to talk to Floyd Mayweather about that. I don't know why he wouldn't fight Manny this fall."
Simple. As Ross Greenburg said, " I don't know why he (Floyd Mayweather Jr.) wouldn't fight Mann this fall." -- Ross Greenburg HBO Boxig Pres. on ESPN with Dan Rafael

All we got was a sketchy 2nd negotiation and a Top Rank clock? The first negotiations for me was the one that counted. No excuses on why Pac would refuse to give in to random testing considering he was down to do 24 so why not 14? I don't even have to go in on Pac fans because you guys stay revealing yourselves. Floyd is all of this but Pac ain't when at the end of the day Pac deaded the fight when all was at the table? Pac ducked Floyd, the random testing or both.
Those are the FACTS. 2nd negotiations don't mean squat because if Pac wanted to fight Floyd so bad then he would not need a 2nd go around. Your argument is weak but it does prove one thing and that is. Bob Arum's marketing and promotion strategies are top notch because guys like you bought it hook line and sinker. Just off of the fact that Manny said this regarding a fight with Mayweather "If the fans want it then I will fight him" Dude ain't even motivated to fight Mayweather. Get out of here with that BULL****.

If you are trying to blame Floyd for the fight not happening now, what did you say about Manny then? The realness of it, is that the fight should have happened but Pac didn't agree to the tests. Floyd only said after he beat Mosley that it was up until the fight because Shane was #1 at WW and also the guy Roach and Pac didn't want no part of after he beat Margarito. Floyd said loud and clear what it was after Mosley and no peep out of Pac.
