remember they were against testing when they defended mosley then changed their minds when it came to floyd.

and people are raging on Floyd because according to ROSS GREENBURG, the THIRD PARTY, who is neutral, everything was going smoothly in the negotiations and he was flabbergasted why FLOYD didn't take the fight.

in other words, the cause of the failure of the 2nd negotiations WAS FLOYD and nobody else.
Ross Greenburg isn't neutral. His balls are owned by Golden Boy, his ass is owned by Al Haymon. Greenburg should be nicknamed "fingercuffs" for the way he bends over for Schaefer and Haymon at the same time.

Ross would've had every reason to lie in favor of GBP/Haymon, but props to Greenburg for choosing to speak the truth even at the risk of straining his close ties with the aforementioned.

While it is true that contradicting claims coming from Arum and Ellerbee cannot be relied on as being objective, Greenburg was an impartial party whose only concern was to make the fight. In fact, it can be argued that Greenburg was sympathetic to Floyd's camp since Al Haymon wields a lot of power at HBO.

Arum and Ellerbee cancel each other. Greenburg confirms Arum's claim of a second negotiations. There is no confusion as to who was lying here.
There was definitely something going on, because this "5 day testing" just came out from left field. It was Mayweather's camp that asked Conte what was an appropriate program and his advice was "5 days".

Victor Conte - "I was contacted by people associated with Floyd Mayweather when they were having the judge arbitrate how to come up with a (drug testing) program and what I recommended and I clearly understand Manny Pacquiao is not the first athlete that has had an adverse psychological response to having their blood drawn. Asafa Powell from Jamaica for many years was the world record holder for the 100-meters, the world's fastest human, in Beijing said that he was affected by having his blood drawn before the 100-meters there. Not it may only be psychological, but it's a valid explanation. Some people don't like it and it has an effect upon them,"

"I think you got to take it a step at a time. And I don't think you can just walk in and take over the sport and implement Olympic caliber testing by USADA all at the same time. I think you have to compromise, you have to look at the specifics of boxing and you have to develop a program that is tailor-made for the sport of boxing, so I suggested 5 days out because there are certain things you can do to more easily circumvent as opposed to using the 14-day or the 24-day out as a cut-off for testing. I would recommend 5 days, but if you're hungry a half loaf of bread is better than none and I think you need to compromise. And I don't think it's ever going to be perfect,"

"For whatever claims they said about Floyd being drug testing for the Mosley fight, he was tested 19 days before the fight. Let's get real here. Floyd's saying my way or the highway, well that's BS. It's got to be a compromise and there's never going 100% (accurate test) and we need to acknowledge that and I think Manny has made an effort to compromise and move to Floyd's direction and I think Manny needs to be applauded for that."

"That's why him and my nephew never fought, because he didn't want to take the test himself. He said he would take a test five days out," said Roger Mayweather. "Who in the hell would do that? Aint no such thing as taking a test five days out. You can take the test the day before the fight, that's it. The rest of that stuff don't mean nothing."

I hear you and there probably was a second negotiation but my point is that it never should have been a 2nd negotiation.

so Floyd vs PAc will never happen.... for you, negotiations starts and end at FIRST negotiation....

Klistko and Haye should never happen since the first negotiations failed... right?

            • One of the problem is that Pac is a too good man. His success create a lot of jalousy and Pac doesn't defend himselft and let the rumor spread.

Klitscho/Haye was about money. Not a blood test. I can understand money being an issue but giving blood?

i actually agree with you in that. i WISH that Pac simply called Floyd's bluff in the first negotiations and decided to take the test.

nonetheless, what happened, happened. i'm just hoping that something would happen, a miracle of sorts like the planets would align or something that would cause the fight to happen.

in spite of so much emotion and fist pumping and hate etc., i'm still interested in seeing their fight, and still hope that it will happen soon.

I don't think that the fight will happen. Too much egos and political BULL**** holding it up. Not going to happen.

Cause of his big ****-breathe mouth. This wouldn't be a problem if he just backs up the trash his mouth is ****ting. THere are times FLoyd gets credit, but he undoes it through his ******ity outside the ring. Hey FLoyd's Career as a boxer is amazing. But he ****ed it up lately through his ape-instinct behavior. He would've got more fans, even pacnuts, if he just showed respect to the business that made him. I for one am one of those backsliding fan of his.
