Ow he's becoming an overachiever cuz he's fighting back at his best weight. Zab's. Ww record is like .500, is that really a great win for Floyd?
Are you saying its to be ignored or that its not a quality win? If Floyd would not have fought Zab and went on to beat Cotto it would be the same reaction just swap the names. People wanted to see that fight, whether it was tougher guys is debateable. I just cant see Zab not being considered a serious and dangerous opponent at the time. Those losses came after Floyd. Cotto took Zab over fighting Margarito. No flack there though. I wanted to see it more than a Margarito fight. Thats somthing we for get. The casual public wins over the underground dream matches. Its what they wanna see. I like match ups of boxers better too, so I go with whats more pleasing to the eye a lot. Those grind it out clubbing fighters dont appeal to the whole public these days.

it's definitely not to be ignored. floyd figured zab out and neutralized him. a good win, just like hatton. my problem is that floyd has nothing but good wins for the most part, only 2 very good wins, one of those arguably a great win. you can't use losses coming after floyd cuz freakin tata already beat zab, not to mention kostya, and its not like floyd beat himso bad like cotto and clottey did. floyd can't match the great wins that roy has at all imo.

cotto fought everyone at ww btw, doesn't really matter the order.

Clottey didnt beat beat him badly. The cut stopped it short. Cotto took a gang of punishment too. So I have to say Floyd gave the best showing from a technical stand point. In excitment value Cotto was maybe better but he was hurt a few times in there.

        • Judah along with Oscar are the 2 most overrated fighters of the last decade.

I wouldnt say Judah is overrated because most say the same thing about him. He has grade A skills with C rated production. He gave everybody a hard time except Tszyu.
Now I cant argue with DLH because he got some gift decisions in big fights.

Stop nuthugging man. This is a ***n female post. Cotto and cotter put us o Judah. Especially cotto. Judah AINT SHI T at ww really. He beat dudes no one here of there and was 1-1 with spinks. Kostya by far beat zab more impressively than anyone anyway. You're trying your hardest to squeeze credit for Floyd over a dude who was a .500 ww, who was wildly overrated and who got beatdown everytime he stepped up at 147.

Of course Judah overrated. He was a good loser that was him. The fact that he some speed and pop take away that he was really just a mental midget. A natural born good loser.

Clottey gave good fighters fits too. But, another mental midget natural born good loser. And, nobody gave Clottey the respect people give Judah.

The fact that the good loser in Clottey could have a win over Judah is all you need to know about Judah.

That Floyd win over Judah was blah.

Roy resume is so much better is not really even debatable. Roy won trinkets at MW, LHW, HW, and then went back down to LHW and won another trinket. Something that hasn't been done since Bob Fitzsimmons. Think about that for a second.

Roy win over John Ruiz is as equal as Floyd greatest win.

Roy still has freaking a prime Toney and an ATG in B-Hop. Nothing Floyd has done come close.

Not to mention Roy wins over Griffin, Tarver, Gonzalez, Harding, Castro, Johnson, Hill, Woods.

No disrespect to Floyd. Because, he has a sure fire first ballot, ATG resume. Floyd resume is much greater than Oscar, Tyson, Tito and Tito had arguably the greatest run from 99-01 in the last 20 years. And, resume is much better than his, and I love Tito. Floyd resume is greater than the 3 Mexican trios in Barrera, Morales, Marquez. Floyd resume way greater than Calzaghe.

And, all the names I just mentioned are IMO first ballot HOF'ers. And, a couple of them are without a doubt ATG in Morales and Barrera, with Tito, Tyson, and JMM being borderline. And, still I say Floyd resume is much better than there's.

So that's how much props I give to Floyd resume. However, it is not better than Roy's, nor is it better than Pac, nor Hopkins.

It really goes Pac>Roy>Hopkins>Floyd in terms of greatness which is resumes and accomplishments.
