Roy's secondary wins are better as well.

Apparently all Floyd's wins are 2nd and 3rd rate by the way his opponents are picked to pieces with triangle theories.

        if you say so
Marquez>Ruiz. Not who fought them and where, just Marquez>Ruiz. Period. JMM is a better fighter than John Ruiz. RJJ fought the lesser fighter at the fighters best weight, Mayweather fought the better fighter at an uncomfortable weight class. I know that. But still Marquez>Ruiz, at the end of the day.

its hard to argue in favor of floyd here...roy does have castillo/corrales level fighters on his resume. and he has guys wayyy above that in toney and bhop. even if u look at his resume overall, jones is better. i think ppl lose sight of what he accomplished just because of how his career has winded down. he did not age gracefully thats for sure.

give me a break. Giving Floyd credit for the Marquez win is like giving Roy credit for the Trinidad win.

Floyd already has a very good record, youre doing him a disservice by pretending that Marquez was a good win.

Like said its not crazy to argue for Roy but not at the expense of trying to discredit Floyd's opponents with "well so and so beat him". Personally I just think Roy had a stretch of guys he knew he could beat and we new he could beat without challenge. Floyd aint exactly a daredevil but he took more chances than Roy.

roy jones went to the elite

went up to toney, up to ruiz, down to hopkins(some people thought he might of been weight drained), down to tarver(was weight drained)

Floyd went up to Castillo and up to DLH. And Ruiz is not elite in comparison to the HW's that were available.

ever since 1990 w/e it was, jones from the very beggining always said, not the guys like lewis who are too big, but the tysons of the HW division

no one had a problem then, just the idea of a former junior middleweight going to heavyweight was mind blowing, when he does it years later, you're not impressed?
