Yes without a doubt, losses do not out weigh wins.
I don't see anybody saying Juan LaPorte having a better resume over Oscar, which true he doesn't, because losses do not outweigh wins.
That fraudulent **** is so F'ing overrrated is ridiculous. And, I'm not talking about Floyd.Comment

How is it nuthugging. Take the time to go back and watch the fights. Not that you havent seen them but to say Clottey crushed Judah is a tremendous over statement. I totally forgot the root of the thread and got caught up in defending Judah so nut huggin Floyd wasnt on the agenda for this minidebate. You kinda kill your own arguement because the simple fact is top guys wouldnt keep fighting Judah if the public thought he was such a waste of boxing equipment. I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. You went back and glanced at those fights and realized it wasnt exactly what you remembered so now its only based on Kostya. Thats weak Walt.Stop nuthugging man. This is a ***n female post. Cotto and cotter put us o Judah. Especially cotto. Judah AINT SHI T at ww really. He beat dudes no one here of there and was 1-1 with spinks. Kostya by far beat zab more impressively than anyone anyway. You're trying your hardest to squeeze credit for Floyd over a dude who was a .500 ww, who was wildly overrated and who got beatdown everytime he stepped up at 147.
The only reason I give Judah the nod over Clottey is because Clottey doesnt even try. He just balls up by choice. Judah usually takes some stout punishment so we're clear as to why he's losin the fight. With Clottey its a mystery sometimes.Of course Judah overrated. He was a good loser that was him. The fact that he some speed and pop take away that he was really just a mental midget. A natural born good loser.
Clottey gave good fighters fits too. But, another mental midget natural born good loser. And, nobody gave Clottey the respect people give Judah.
The fact that the good loser in Clottey could have a win over Judah is all you need to know about Judah.
That Floyd win over Judah was blah.
Roy resume is so much better is not really even debatable. Roy won trinkets at MW, LHW, HW, and then went back down to LHW and won another trinket. Something that hasn't been done since Bob Fitzsimmons. Think about that for a second.
Roy win over John Ruiz is as equal as Floyd greatest win.
Roy still has freaking a prime Toney and an ATG in B-Hop. Nothing Floyd has done come close.
Not to mention Roy wins over Griffin, Tarver, Gonzalez, Harding, Castro, Johnson, Hill, Woods.
No disrespect to Floyd. Because, he has a sure fire first ballot, ATG resume. Floyd resume is much greater than Oscar, Tyson, Tito and Tito had arguably the greatest run from 99-01 in the last 20 years. And, resume is much better than his, and I love Tito. Floyd resume is greater than the 3 Mexican trios in Barrera, Morales, Marquez. Floyd resume way greater than Calzaghe.
And, all the names I just mentioned are IMO first ballot HOF'ers. And, a couple of them are without a doubt ATG in Morales and Barrera, with Tito, Tyson, and JMM being borderline. And, still I say Floyd resume is much better than there's.
So that's how much props I give to Floyd resume. However, it is not better than Roy's, nor is it better than Pac, nor Hopkins.
It really goes Pac>Roy>Hopkins>Floyd in terms of greatness which is resumes and accomplishments.Comment

it should be against the law to even think Floyd is greater than Roy....Floyd's career trumps many.... but Roy's is not one of them

On resume its many that I believe beat out Roy's. He's usually the better fighter but that resume is easily rivaled. All I keep hearing is Toney and Hopkins beat Floyd's whole career. If thats the case then Buster Douglass is one win short of an ATG great resume.Comment
