Yep sure the all were afraid of Roy Jones but the garbage men and firefighters weren't. How do we know they were afraid? Because Roy said so. It doesn't matter what they have come out and said, only Roy tells the truth.

Don't come up with lame excuses "Tarver's eyes were closed". RJJ don't have any skills or defense to look for his head with the open eyes. Calzaghe can enter the ring with closed eyes and beat RJJ easily.

Is it lucky shot because Martinez isn't looking at Williams?

If Floyd Mayweather gets KTFO in 2 rounds against Pacman, Martinez or etc, I won't say he is exposed, because Floyd had proven himself already against lot of decent fighters. But RJJ was really exposed as a B-level fighter.

He would have been vastly overrated, but at the end of the day would have settled right where he belonged on ATG lists, somewhere between 40-50 IMO. The man was a once in a lifetime talent, and between 160-175 there are very few fighters I would pick to beat him.

Jones even now. Is still a Top 50 ATG. He never hurt his legacy.

I would rank him exactly where I do today. Top 50-60.

However, if he did retire after Ruiz he would be vastly overrated.

He would've retired on a questionable decision

He'd be considered a top 10 fighter, but politics would make him top 20. He was virtually undefeated before the KO loss. Over 50 fights. Good and great wins. Went from 154 to a HW title.

How on earth would he considered a top 10 fighter if he retired on a questionable decision agaisnt the first semi-elite fighter he'd fought in years?
