If Rjjr retired after Tarver I

That's true (for every fighter) - and that would make his standing even greater. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that he's still an ATG and ranked within the greatest quarter or so fighters of the modern era.Comment

You are right but it was obvious that he needed to. He just wasn't the same and it was painfully obvious in the first Tarver fight. He should've took the Lennox Lewis way out in retrospect. I just watched it and was thinking , OGM, what in the world happened o the Roy Jones I know? He still had speed but his timing, reflexes and lateral movement were gone. I had him winning the fight and he did block a lot of what Tarver threw, but it stood for something when Tarver hit him more than any opponent ever had prior.Comment

Exactly(bolded) Skillwise, Roy was unnatural.
And as for Roy's resume, it's outstanding. I'm not too sure what you're talking about. Roy's resume s-hits all over Joe Calzaghe's yet you still suck his d-ick. Just shut up already. Your blatant Roy hate is old enough.Comment

Hey genius, Roy didn't used to get hit with those punches in case you didn't know. Go do some research. Roy was past it and it was obvious in the first Tarver fight. He just wasn't the same dynamic fighter he was prior to heavyweight. In reality he should have either retired or stayed at heavyweight and competed. I will debate anyone over this. This is exactly the way it is.Comment

Well as quoted before, theres a video on youtube where hbo are talking to roy before a fight i think, and hbo mention that big names dont want to fight him and ask for to much money but still call him out.
Anyway i thunk he should have retired after ruiz or stayed at heavyweight for a few more fights! Roy jones is my favorite fighter of all time so maybe i'm baised but he's always will be top to me! I just wish he have fought in the uk so i could see him!Comment
