He ducked all legit opponents, especially Calzaghe, and cherrypicked slow C-level boxers to make himself good. He would dance around those tomato cans and all Americans were thinking that he is GOAT. After HW title RJJ himself believed that he is indeed GOAT and picked legit opponent in the face of Antonio Tarver, we know outcome was KTFO.
If Rjjr retired after Tarver I

Afraid to lose? How can winning several world titles in 4 weight divisions, unifying titles @ LHW and fighting an undefeated, prime James Toney be credentials of a fighter afraid to lose? I'll make this clearer for you. As Calzaghe admitted, he and others were not convinced they had a shot at beating prime Roy and declined coming over to face him. It's simple. Get the knack.Comment

if he retired after the Tarver 1 fight, he would have retired on top. he would have won every fantasy fights because he wouldnt get exposed. people wouldnt care that he cherry picked. he'd probably rank in a top 10 ATG's because he would have been remembered as one of the best and unstoppable. people would only remember how dominant he was and wouldnt care about the fighters he ducked specially if those boxers he ducked wouldnt get in a hall of fame or would get exposed along the way..Last edited by joelab75; 03-04-2011, 01:30 AM.Comment

Was more-less a lucky shot in the dark, and Roy still made it to his feet.(Tarver's eyes were even closed, lol) But, in light of your other ignorant posts on the subject, you are now on ignore. Just too pathetic to conversate with.He ducked all legit opponents, especially Calzaghe, and cherrypicked slow C-level boxers to make himself good. Good post, with the exception of being exposed. Roy was 35 and essentially 50-0 when he first actually lost. He got old, simple as that. It happens. Especially with the athletic style Roy had. The problem is that it doesn't happen in the fights, it happens between the fights.if he retired after the Ruiz fight, he would have retired on top. he would have won every fantasy fights because he wouldnt get exposed. people wouldnt care that he cherry picked. he'd probably rank in a top 10 ATG's because he would have been remembered as one of the best and unstoppable. people would only remember how dominant he was and wouldnt care about the fighters he ducked specially if those boxers he ducked wouldnt get in a hall of fame or would get exposed along the way..Comment
