This is easily the most insanely idiotic post I've ever seen here. (And that covers A LOT of ground.) Roy didn't duck ANYBODY. He probably offered Joe a 60/40 split (which is more than fair for the timeframe) and told Joe the fight had to take place in the US. These are MORE THAN FAIR conditions for a fight of this stature. Joe refused, because he KNEW he'd get sparked. He's even admitted as much you dumb ****. Look, I like Calzaghe as much as the next guy, but to say RJJ ducked him is not only inaccurate, it makes you look like a ****** who shouldnt even be posting here, because he HAS ZERO BOXING KNOWLEDGE. Also, the only other POSSIBLE boxer you could claim RJJ is Dariusz Michalczewski. From what I heard though, he wanted to fight Roy in Germany for a 50/50 split IIRC, and that was completely preposterous. You can't possibly expect Roy to bend to these types of demands just to appease the fans. Boxing is a business first. Roy was the star, and he shouldn't have to cater TO ANYONE, unless he says so.

You are an idiot. Calzaghe was well past his prime when he fought and destroyed Roy. He even retired immediately after the win because he knew himself he was so far past it. Roy was closer to prime that Joe and got schooled hardcore in the US btw. You really need to watch some fights and not just run your mouth acting like a fiddy cent internet tough guy. So there you have it, from Warren's mouth. And why shouldn't Jones have gotten the bigger piece of the pie? He was a MUCH bigger attraction than Calzaghe at that point in time. I couldn't find the exact interview, but I know somewhere I saw that Joe himself said that he would have got beaten by Jones in 2000-2002.
