nah...... *******s are not too scared of jmm.

the only reason they made excuses about jmm-pac 3 is because people were whining pac was ducking jmm.

watch if the fight gets made.

    reversals by everyone.

*******s now talking about how great a matchup pac-jmm 3 is.

and pachaters who were saying he was ducking jmm will now say pac is fighting an old , smaller man.

Basically. Same thing will happen with Pac-Bradley and Pac-Berto.

These cutthroat promoter types really need to go away.

A few months ago JMM needed to prove himself above 135, now he's a wonderful opponet? To openly try and take a fighter under another banner is so unethical, never mind illegal (if tampering is involved).

As much as I love boxing, I wouldn't mind if the whole thing was scrapped for a year or two and revamped into something much more watchable and organized

I'm not a pachater but I do agree that JMM is older, and smaller.

how many fighters are there? how many fights a year?

not all of it can be handled by showtime/hbo/espn.

              just not possible.

those independent ppv's are there so you can watch your favorite fighter in a tuneup. or some prospect you're watching keep busy against a tomato can.
Why should that be the option when the option could be watch it on regular TV? Nonsense.

imdazed , listen , if regular tv wanted boxing they would have it.

you think these small independent ppv's hurt tv networks boxing coverage?

you have it backwards. the reason they have to hold these independent ppv's is because they can't sell it on tv.

yes it's a shame that we don't have boxing on abc or usa or the other networks anymore.

maybe one day we will again. maybe this cbs/showtime deal can make it happen.

BUT PPV WASN'T THE REASON REGULAR TV DROPPED BOXING.

they dropped boxing and that's when boxing moved to cable and ppv.

man , back in the days when i was young the only boxing ppv was what tyson? that's about it.

ppv wasn't the reason tv networks dropped boxing.

If the new Top Rank/CBS venture bears fruit, that could be a viable option in the near future.

I'm not talking about the how and why tv networks dropped boxing. I'm talking about a fight that shouldn't happen anyway, happening on PPV. And your response is? It's good? Uhh no.

Not if everyone has to sign to one promoter.
