making independent ppv's is not a bad thing. it gives the fans an option on whether to buy it or not.

at least it doesn't mess with hbo programming and takes up hbo dates (which are free for us hbo subscribers)
Sort of strange to say "when Berto fights someone" to counter a statement about Arum refusing to pit Cotto in with him.

    Independent PPV's aren't a bad thing...except when it's a ****ty fight and the alternative could've been a better one.

I don't... I really don't is not better than the Mosley fight TBH...And, I have had that stance from the beginning.

The only way I would want that fight if it's at 135. And, since it won't be at 135 there is no need for that fight to happen.

i just don't care for berto. he's had plenty of chances to fight fighters of cotto's level NOT JUST COTTO.

i have no problem with cotto not fighting him. cotto with his tough fights have earned the right to ignore fighters like berto who are high in the rankings but really don't bring much to the table nor actually deserve the big money they want/get.

****ty fights should belong on independent ppv. that way people have a choice to buy it or not. rather they were on ppv than on showtime or hbo.

I personally don't either but it seemed like everyone wanted to. They were all anti-Mosley and Pro-JMM for Pacs next opponent.

Clearly in-house fights suck but it makes the most finiacial sense. Arum using Pacquiao to lure other fighters is a good business move. Get over it, you'd do the same in Bobs position

DLH should of never given Pac the chance at stardom, now look at how Arum repays him. Arum don't take risks unless it benefits him.

the only reason oscar's promotion took off was because he was doing the same thing.

his fights with hbo got gbp all those dates on hbo.

his fights in vegas got gbp the venues in those casinos.

look at some of the big name fighters that moved to gbp , some of them had/got fights against oscar no?
