Did you read what Dibella said? Since when do we starting arguing in favor of selling a fighter over the competitive nature of the fight itself. Your siding with guy who sold you Pacquiao/Mosley and now Cotto/Mayorga? All the while Berto
sits right there available as the most competitive.

I feel like Berto's weak resume isn't entirely his fault. Its also HBO's fault for overpaying him so much that its hard to get him a big fight when he can make so much fighting weak opposition.

Is it Arums fault Berto has fought no one and doesnt have a name?

Berto has become a "top WW" not by beating the best but by the best beating eachother, taking losses and Berto keeps taking cans and winning staying ranked high
When he tries to fight the "best" he gets shutout.

Urango, Collazo, Quintana, Estrada, and Forbes are cans now?

          Wow..Okay.

I'm not siding with anyone. The amount of money Berto has been earning vs his level of opponents is not a secret in the world of boxing. HBO's Ross Greenburg announced before the start of 2011, Berto won't be fighting on HBO again unless it's a competitive fight. You think he said that b/c Berto's not overpaid?

Khan is a beast on twitter too.. I'd say Berto #1 and Khan #2.. Slight edge to Berto b/c he only fights via tweet.

Im a fan of Berto... but his selections of opponents has distanced me from him as a fan, more and more as time goes by.

Love his style and speed... but step it up.

I said this **** two years ago... its 2011... Step up or gtfo.

urango was not in his proper weightclass(berto fought him like a *****. Alexander beat him worse), collazo whooped his ass, Quintana dropped him(hes shot, cotto williams beat him worse), Estradas wack( berto was down hard and saved by the bell in that bout), Forbes is a natural 130 pounder.
                    sorry you FAIL

I agree, but ultimately as fans we have to hold Berto responsible if he's not giving us anything. HBO is starting off right with Bradley/Alexander and Donaire/Montiel. Hopefully they continue with high levels of competition.
