Who has Cintron beat? He should have lost to Martinez, he lost to Margarito twice, he said he was going into MMA @ one point, We all saw the Williams fight. Ortiz is not afraid to step up and challenge himself, and I believe his body will be more acquainted with 144-145 than 140.

Arum already stated that Berto's offer was the best of the 3 presented to Pacquiao, yet Pacquiao chose Mosley. What's your issue?

Hes fought much better competition Cintron fought marg twice the second time he called out margarito for the rematch when he was the champ. By your own logic who has Berto beat to deserve a fight vs Cotto and pacquiao? Cintron is never afraid to step up vs the tough ones like williams and marg when no one else wants 2. He said he'd fight some MMA dudes never said he was actually leaving the sport. Berto picks on smaller fighters than him and acts like hes great when in fact he was basically given that title by fighting a part time cop/fighter from mexico for the vacant belt. Just like you said Cintron shoulda lost to Martinez most people including I believe Berto shoulda lost to Collazo

I am NOT a berto fan. He talks about pacman and cotto fights but the guy hasn't deserved a shot at those two. Clottey, cintron, margarito, brook, jones etc are all guys he needs to think about before cotto or pacman..but instead he prefers to hunt In the 140lb division

                    and

Cotto fighting Mayorga is a flat out joke. Mayorga isn't even ranked.
pac and cotto has already been that route of fighting the toughest oppositions in their divisions so you can't make that comparison...it's ****** really.

I'm a big fan but I have been critical of him lately. I went all out on the Bailey discussions. A fight against Ortiz is really not horrible. Oritz was going up to WW anyways. At 140 on fight night, Ortiz weighs more than what Berto weighs at 147 on fight nights and that says a lot about how big Ortiz is for 140. Plus Ortiz is also taller than Berto. And I think they are about the same in experience aren't they? They have like the same amount of pro fights almost and they have fought the same amount of good opponents, they're both young. This is a good fight if it gets made, not a prime fighter vs a past prime/shot fighter. You guys are complaining about 2 fighters in their prime fighting eachother. Oh the weight? How many times have we seen the guy coming up win the fight? It's happened so many times, it shouldn't even be a disadvantage anymore unless it's going up massive amounts of weight class from one fight to the other like let's say 140 to 160, hell Ortiz even fits in at 154 with his size.
