I'm thinking Clotteys high guard would negate Bertos only strength.. his speed. Clottey can just hide in that guard and counter. Bertos endurance is still suspect and I don't think he can throw over 1000 'power punches' to keep Clottey honest.

That's why I'd like to see the fight.. instead of this guy pickin on Jr. WWs

Good point, Clottey was probably my lowest on the list of fighters you put together.. With that said I'd 100% much rather see Berto test himself against Clottey than Victor Ortiz. We need to see what Berto does when he can't just over power and blast his opponent. We saw how interesting it got when he couldn't just blast Collazo.. Victor Ortiz is getting knocked out.

Yea.. Clottey gave Cotto (controversial defeat) hell.. beat Judah (slick speedy fighter).. tough fight with Marg (broke his hand prior to the fight). Though Clottey has a few losses on his record, he is a proven full-fledged WW. His only thorough beating was the embarrassing defeat to Manny...

yea ur right on all that the only thing though is with the cotto fight cotto also fought with one eye for 3 quarters of the fight none the less though it was hell in there

I remember that.. Cotto is a warrior and always shows respect/class. That fight reminded me of the Pacquiao vs Morales I fight. Difference is Cotto pulled out the W.

I was at Cotto/Clottey, that cut looked so bad right away I remember thinking.. There are going to be a lot of angry Puerto Ricans if this gets waved off.. But it didn't, Cotto won I got drunk and everyone had a great time!

He didn't price himself out of a fight with Pacquiao, b/c even being on the wrong side of a Pacquiao split is a payday for Berto. When it comes to fighting that tier below Pacquiao, he's going to be a pain to negotiate with. I'd like to know the exact details of his second attempt at Mosley negotiations..

He dt price himself out against Cotto either. Thats the right fight for him right now IMO. Either way I agree he should fight Cintron but you have people on here who claim he has been ducking the Collazo rematcb and Cotto. Its just over the top.
