Seriously though.. Does this guy have any big fans? He's been so overpaid by HBO, it's impossible to get him in very game fights(Berto will come in heavily favorited over Ortiz). I read a Q&A he did with Ring Magazine last year and he came off as very likeable. However, outside of that single interview I've found nothing to like.

With almost any fighter, when NSB starts ripping a guy down in a thread. At least 1 or 2 posters step up and defend the guy. I rarely if ever see anyone attempting to back Andre. I'm not a Berto fan, just curious if there were any big Berto fans. Reveal yourselves Berto fans, and feel free to use this thread to meet eachother and discuss your boy!

I mean, Ortiz has struggled against the middle of the pack at 140.. What sort of measuring stick is it for Berto to take Ortiz on. IMO anything short of a stoppage of Ortiz will be a fail, and even that won't be so overwhelming. Will it be a fun action fight? Yes, will it tell us anything significant about Berto? Negative.
