So does that make it acceptable for Pacquiao to fight Mosley coming off a loss and a draw, when Berto has the WBC strap and is willing and ready to defend it @ 147?
and
Cotto fighting Mayorga is a flat out joke. Mayorga isn't even ranked.Comment

I'm not going to act like Cintron is some beast, but I think that fight would have told us a lot about Berto and been very competitive. What's sad is Berto(at least to my knowledge) responded to any of Cintron's taunts or call outs.Comment

Even if you don't agree with these current fights.. They've fought many top flight opponents already. Berto has not. If the three of them retired tomorrow, 2 of them are heading straight to the HOF. Take a wild guess which one doesn't.Comment

Cotto is at 154, Berto is not ranked there either
Mosleys draw is better then bertos last win. He needs to forget about PacComment

Regarding a Cotto fight
Lou DiBella, promoter of WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto, reached out to BoxingScene.com to reply to the recent comments that were made by Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank, regarding a possible fight between Berto and WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto.
Regarding Pacquiao
As for Berto, Arum said his offer was "the most reasonable. He came in below everybody and he would be an excellent, excellent opponent. But his promoter [Lou DiBella] got to get out and promote him so he has a persona and that if we put him in with Pacquiao people don't say, 'Who the hell is that?' "
Manny Pacquiao is still deciding who he will fight next, but the date is set. The pound-for-pound king will return to the ring to defend his welterweight title May 7 at a venue to be determined in the U.S., Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.com.
Cotto, Pacquiao, and Arum all dismissed Berto like I said. Don't fault him or Dibella.Comment

Not to give you more of what you love to hear, but ppl can say what they want about Khan.. He left a country where he was drawing sold out arenas, got on HBO and in 2 fights achieved his signature victory(and FOTY.)Comment

You proved nothing with the Cotto link.. It just confirms what everyone has been saying. His asking price has been so over inflated by HBO that it's impossible to get him in fights against live competition. Regardless, I find it interesting and am glad to see there are actually Berto fans out there willing to defend him.Regarding a Cotto fight
