Looche is defensively better but Floyds offense and speed is what sets him apart

I agree, I think Floyd is the better overall fighter, and the greater fighter out of the 2. But, if we talking about just defense and I say Locche is better with just pure defense.

When he had fought Chavez he had just moved up, and again with Whitaker in moving to 147 and winning his title.

I really don't know what else to say about this post. You have this opinion of Oscar, yet you hold Pacquiao in the highest regard. I can't think of any reason how you could believe these things unless you yourself are a Pinoy and have a strong loyalty to Manny Pacquiao.
I believe it cuz' it's true and no I'm not a Pinoy.

And, to say that Oscar wasn't that impressive to you as a LW is kind weird. Since he really was probably at his best at 135-140. Where he had the perfect combination of speed, power, and size.

I wonder if you just looked through boxrec or if you were watching him closely at the time. He was not very green when he fought JCC. He had already wins over Ruelas, Leija, Molina, Hernandez all top fighters at LW before moving up to JCC. Even had somewhat of a decent win against a faded Paez. In the Paez fight you can say he was very green. But, going through his run at LW and being a 2 division title holder(even though the WBO wasn't really consider major at the time) you can't say he was very green against a faded JCC with a straight face. To even imply that he was green against Whitaker like you did in your previous post is asinine.

Really his best win of his career against prime top opponent happened at 135 not 147+. So how could you be more impressed with Oscar above 140 and that insinuate that Oscar is greater than Pac is beyond me.

Unless you yourself are a woman or from his male gay fan base that you feel you need to have a strong loyalty to Oscar De la Hoya

Oscar was at his best at 147, as I don't believe he ever had good legs at 135. lol, you brought up Molina. There goes your credibility, as if you had any to begin with. His wins at 147 over Quartey, Carr, and I believe he beat Trinidad, all of which were great fights at 147.

I have no gay loyalty to Oscar, I just call them like I see them and Oscar is one of the best of his era and unlike your hero, he always fought the toughest fight and went up against guys that the world wanted to see him fight, not the likes of battered Cotto's, Ricky Hatton, Clottey and Margarito (lol).
