Bigger draw-DLH or Pacquiao

Exactly, Oscar is the bigger draw cuz he has more PPV than Floyd and Pac.You talking about quantity over quality when you're talking about who sold more. He had 16 PPV fights, Floyd isn't sniffing anywhere close to those amount of PPV events. He barely has what? Like 7?
Why not average out?
Add up all the amount of money he generated in PPV events and all also add up all the PPV buys he had on HBO and then divide that by the number of events.
Then do the same for Floyd with HBO PPV
And, the same for Pac Pac with HBO PPV.
And, I can pretty much guarantee that Oscar doesn't finish first in that regard.Comment

Okay. I'm sure Floyd helped SOME. But didn't Oscar do like just under a million ppv buys with RICARDO MAYORGA? Come on man. Oscar is THE PPV DRAW.Comment

Right now? Both Floyd and Manny are bigger than Oscar thanks to Oscar.
People forget that Oscar didn't have some of the same opportunities Manny and Floyd have.
The internet wasn't that big back then like it is today. Oscar didn't have 24/7, Oscar wasn't on prime time TV promoting his fights, HBO wasn't promoting Oscar like they do now with Pac, etc.Comment

2 big names but it has mostly to do with Oscar. Just look at all the talks before the actual fight.
Pac and Floyd, all roads lead to Oscar.Comment

LOL, hope somebody will come up with average PPV per fight and we'll see. I still feel it's hoya though. You talking about quantity over quality when you're talking about who sold more. He had 16 PPV fights, Floyd isn't sniffing anywhere close to those amount of PPV events. He barely has what? Like 7?

Who is to say,,, Boxing back then was more mainstream than it is now... There was more intruiged... You honest don't think that helped him either? I can say that if boxing today had the mainstream appeal that it had in Oscar prime then both Floyd and Pac would have been even larger today.
The internet can help and hurt with free streams now... You don't think the free streams hurt there sells? If there wasn't any free streams who is to say they won't sell even more?
Anyways, we talking about right and right now both Floyd and Pac are bigger than Oscar ever was...Maybe Oscar would have been larger in this era but that is not the question now is it?
Dude, we know you hate Oscar.
You don't have to lower yourself to horus and burner standards to let everyone know it.
Don't give me that **** about "we're talking about right now" and "thats not the questionnow is it?"
You specifically brought up "Floyd didn't have this, Pac didn't have that".
I'm bringing up the fact, that Oscar didn't have todays marketing tools and still outsold both of them, combined, even in an era when the "black box" was widely available along with cards to get free PPVs on cable and satellite tv. Everyone knew someone who had a card writer.
You're looking real silly right now man.

Oscar and it aint even close. Put Manny and Floyd together and they migth be lucky to have the success in drawing power the way Oscar did.
Oscar had it all, his life long dedicated fans from all over the world. His haters that wanted him to lose. He was the media darling and let's not forget, he not only crossed over from the hardcore boxing fans to the casual ones, but he also won over the women too.
There wasn't anyone that didn't pay attention to DLH when he was fighting.Comment
