Pac wanted to fight at 147. Arum was throwing out fights from 140, 147, 154. Some absurd, some are not. But ****, if you believe everything that he says then you are a moron. He throws out names after every Pac fight all the time. And in most cases those fights end up as just fart in the wind..
But Pac himself said before the negotiations started (so he has no reason to lie) that he cannot fight above 147 at that time. I mean you would think that the person that you should believe is the fighter himself. The fight between Yuri Foreman was seriously considered at 154 after the negotiations failed. But Pac rejected it.
Arum, Roach threw out Hatton's name after the DLH fight, that happened. Mayweather, Mosley, Cotto were named after Hatton's fight.... Cotto happened. The only time Arum's aired out names for Pacquiao was when they for some strange reason, went into a tailspin over drug testing with Mayweather. But thanks for calling Team Pacquiao chronic name-droppers that are afraid to deliver.
It's okay, Pacquiao contradicted himself. I mean, you've seen that he's told an outright lie to various news sources. It's alright.

Now that he's fighting above the welterweight limit, why couldn't he fight Mayweather at '54 then when he was in negotiations to fight Foreman as well? I ask this because, why wouldn't they fight Mosley at '43 when he finally came around, but they would fight Cotto at '45, even when Mosley made a final offer to fight at '40?
Are you seeing the light yet. Pacquiao puts on a show, yet never shows up.Last edited by deejd; 10-28-2010, 05:44 PM.
