Interesting video on drug test issue

I'd probably classify their steroid accusations somewhat in that category. But it doesn't matter because Pac basically confirmed their su****ions by refusing better drug testing, especially with the horrible excuses.
What bothers me about this situation is that he seems to be getting away with it. In another sport, he'd be rightly torn to shreds by the public. Pick any Olympic athlete that demanded stipulations against the drug testing policy, and I guarantee that the backlash would be severe and they'd be ridiculed.
The deal breaker was how Pacquiao responded to the OST request. Remember, in December, Ariza said "manny does know what I give him." Sheer ignorance. Roach cleaned it up nicely a few days later stating that they'd agree to take whatever test they [Mayweather] want. Then when Mayweather called all their bluffs and they found that OST is random, that's when their PR person should've been fired. Whoever ran the excuses for Pacquiao's camp should have looked Arum, Roach, and Pacquiao in the eye and said "jump off a cliff if we use these."
Speculation confirmed.
You're right though, it's sad that he gets a pass. The backlash Bolt, Phelps, Armstrong, any world class athlete would receive for refusing testing would be massive, yet because boxing is such an animalistic sport, there's no outrage.

He also says that "NSAC should dictate the medical program", obviously you dont believe him on this one.
Foreman-Pac did not happen, so why are you tryin to use a fight that did not take place as a basis for your argument.
Roach has said before that "Mayweather's the easiest fight of the three [Mosley, Cotto]." Then says "we need to train 12 weeks because he's a different type of animal."
Consistency? You mean like "I'm afraid of needles" or "I'm superstitious" or "It makes me weak"? Consistency like telling every media outlet that asked that "we agreed to all testing."
Fact of the matter is that Roach went on record talking about Pacquiao fighting at '54 while negotiations were going on with Mayweather.
Wow, I would have never thought Pacquiao die hard such as yourself would admit Pacquiao's team is a contradiction.Last edited by deejd; 10-28-2010, 04:18 PM.

For instance, after the Hatton fight, Mayweather Sr. cried steroids and I was like 'man, shut up.' I never thought Hatton was a good fighter. When Pacquiao beat Cotto, that's when I thought something could be happening. I didn't think Cotto was going to win, but I also didn't think he'd get slaughtered.

Where's the real Pacquiao. I like Bobby Pacquiao. At least he's honest and can accept and respect the rules of the sport. When he low blows somebody, he does it with dignity and pride and when that bell rings for the DQ he accepts it. And he fought Kevin Kelly and won!

Thats why I seldom post quotes. I dont drink the Roach Kool-aid the way that you do with the Mayweathers.
The only reason that I posted the youtube video is because Pac was reacting immediately after the fight which I believe is a instant honest reaction since the negotiations hasn't taken place yet, plus he just came out from a fight (I mean why would he lie). Plus the fact that the Foreman-Pac fight did not happen..
Which brings me to my previous point.. Did the Foreman-Pac fight happen? So why are you using this as an argument. Are you running out of one.Last edited by mikemurni; 10-28-2010, 04:25 PM.

Then Pacquiao bails on testing. Then they talk about fighting Malignaggi. Arum realizes that Malignaggi been a prominent voice in his assumptions of Pacquiao using. They can't do that. They didn't want to fight Bradley or Alexander via no draw, but we all know the reason why. The public still claims the two pounds made a difference against Cotto. Mosley was still on to fight Berto at the time, enter: Joshua Clottey.
It doesn't look like this in a Pacquiao fans eyes, but this is the order of events. Pacquiao went from shunning Mayweather at '54 for Foreman, to getting everything he wanted from Mayweather. To losing Mayweather via testing, to landing Clottey. Dope moves right?

Has Mayweather ever failed to make the 147 lb. welterweight limit?
Is Pacquiao fighting above the 147 lb. welterweight limit?
