If it was Mayweather vs Margarito, would you call it a cherrypick?

Yeah but I've never seen shane gasping for breath by the 4th round.

He usually does that in the championship rounds- not when the fight has just barely started.

Look this was around 2005. Winky had just beaten Tito. Floyd was still at 140. There were talks of a fight at 154 between them. Winky was not 'washed up" at this time. He was very much prime. And, at the time could have still made 154, he was a small MW. With only MW fight was against Tito at that time. While Floyd was at 140. Floyd was going to skip the 147 division and go to 154 and fight Winky. Winky was going to down to 154 again.

      Kind of like Pac-Oscar.....

Winky, a prime Winky, was the one who outpriced himself out. He demanded a 50/50 split against Floyd. Winky didn't accept shit. He demanded, outpriced himself out. Floyd took other option and just went to WW. Winky went on to fight Sam Soliman and then JT.

Winky has a history of this. He also turned down a 4mil(I think a career high) guarantee against Marg because he wanted the 8mil that Floyd got offered. Like if his marketability was on Floyd level.

He also turned down a 50/50 split for a rematch against Taylor. Because, he said he deserved a bigger split.

He also turned a career high payday against Oscar of 6mil. I mean who the fuck turns down Oscar? Seriously?

Winky always over valued himself for some reason.

To say he accepted Floyd 80/20 split is just not true. And, I never even heard of that split being offered.

So now I am just curious, where did you get that info from?
      great post DLT.

      Very informative.

Shane's stamina isnt even that good, he breaths out his mouth in most of his fights, especially when hes made to miss alot, i was expecting Shane to be breathing out his mouth. Shane hates fighting people who dont want to engage, he cant fight people who wont engage.

Marg cant beat May homie... just accept it and move forward

Insinuating that is just showing your disrespect for May as a boxer... which can easily taken as hating... cause frankly thats what it is

I don't hate him, I just think he's overrated and untested at welterweight, and I think Margarito can beat him.

                  That's my opinion.

I think Manny Pacquiao fights damaged, slow, marginally skilled boxers, at least since Marquez. Will Pacman ever fight somebody with any type of speed?

I agree that Margarito was a horrible choice to add to his resume and I hate this fight because it proves nothing. I would have rather seen him fight berto, alexander, bradley or mayweather, but pac's not out of the game yet and there's still time because he's still fighting, unlike what seems to be the case for Floyd.
