Judging by todays standards Floyd's win over Baldomir is totally legit.

I'm not a Pac supporter, I'm justifying his actions

That could be said when a fighter is moving into a new division
Tim Bradley recently tested the waters at 147, he didn't go straight in with Shane Mosley did he?
Now say Bradley stayed at 147 for a few years, then there's no reason to say he couldn't face Mosley because of weight or whatever
Some fighters move up and fight the big names straight away, Martinez fought Pavlik straight away because he was a good matchup, but it doesn't usually work like that

There was no reason for Floyd not to face Cotto, Mosley and Margarito when they were making noise, there would have been reason though if Floyd was planning his first fight at 147 around the time Cotto beat Mosley, it would have been acceptable... but he claimed to be the best in the division at that time, in the sport, but ran away

Manny is fighting Margarito because of his name... he would have faced him at 147 if he was there, but he's not... He's not making a permanent move to 154, he's only got 1 or 2 fights left

Junior Middleweight is 147 to 154, 151 is fair
Sure they could have left it at 154 for Margarito, but equally Margarito only weighed 153 after a long lay off, they could have asked for a fight at 147.

Tim Bradley fought at the welterweight limit, there wasn't any catchweight involved!!Also when Cotto went to 154,he fought a champion,(one whom Pacman's camp claimed was to big),so please come again!!

Bradley's clearly making a move into that division
Pacquiao just wants to fight Margarito
        That's the difference
Margarito was a welterweight 2 fights ago, couldn't they have asked for it at 147?

So you think a slow flat footed baldomir coming into this fight with 9 previous losses is a good win?

If that were the case that pacman just wants to fight Margarito, then why isn't it at 147,without the super welterweight title on the line??Pacman Margarito is the easiest road possible for him to claim a title in a really talent rich division!!That is a Floyd move, plain & simple, the easiest road to a title!!

If a ******* throws a red k my way because their hero is suspect & deserves to be exposed like they love to expose floyd,I think it's worth it!!But the fact of the Matter is that pacman is bidding for a second title above 140 & it's at a catchweight,2 in 3 fights is cherrypicking too!!

Judah was top guy in the division at that time. Everyone was talking about a potential Judah vs Mayweather fight. Baldy beat Judah by close decision. So Floyd fought Judah anyways. Then he fought Badly, who was THE champion at that time. People forget this was before Miguel Cotto was big, or before Marg had fought a legitimate fighter, of before Clottey rose through the ranks or before Mosley moved down. He fought the best two guys available to him at that time.

Hell, its better than fighting a guy who has had one fight (an unimpressive decision against a nobody) in the past year and a half at a bogus catchweight...
